Are you always the last one to eat?

I cook for my family my husband does sometimes, but mostly me. Whenever we get ready to eat I am always the last to sit down and eat. I have to cut my one year olds food up and I usually tell my husband to eat. There is no point in his food getting cold. Moms are you always last to eat or do you make all of the plates and eat together?

not so much anymore, b/c my older daughters help serve plates and refill drinks, but when the kids were smaller, I never got a hot meal.

Yeah it is the same way in my house. When I was growing up my mom never really wanted us to make our own plates and she would always make us eat even before she could sit down. We would try to help set the table though to prevent her from having to much work.

I am the last to eat as well. I have to feed my ten month old and pass this and that. When ever someone needs something that is not on the table I end up getting, but it seems to happen just as I sit or try to take the first bite. I think it has been awhile since I have a warm dinner.

Sometimes I ask my husband to get things and if he groans or moans I yell I never get to eat a warm meal so please just help. I am feeding myself and my daughter it is a pain sometimes.

I am always the last to eat. By the time I get everyones plates ready and the kids are sitting down usually they are askin for something, more juice, ketchup or whatever. After I sit down I have started tellin them they have to wait until I have finished eating before I get them anything else or I would never get to eat.

My kids are bigger now and sometimes my oldest help with the cooking so we all eat together unless I choose to eat later but most of the time 2gether

Im usually the one who makes dinner in my house. My fiance works weird hours and when he is home, I like to cook for him. I make up the dinner and I have to cut up my daughters first, shes 14 months, and I dish out his and I call him to come and eat. Every single time he asks "where's yours?" and I say, ill do it in a minute. Im pretty much always the last one to eat, but I dont mind :)
