How do you fold your wash cloths?

These may seem strange topics, but I love knowing how others do things because I might want to do it that way. I fold my washcloths (wash rags, as we hillbilliles call them) in half and then in half again to make a small square for our master bathroom. I fold them in half and then roll them short ways to fit in a basket on the bathroom countertop in my son's bathroom. My mama used to just fold her wash rags once. How do you do yours?

I fold my wash rags (for kitchen) and wash cloths (for bathroom) in small square. What an interesting topic you chose to ask.

I fold my wash cloths the way you do them for your master bathroom. I don't know why, I guess I just do. maybe I seen my mom or someone do so it so now I do it too.

My mama only folded her wash rags once and put under cabinet and when I got married I had to do something different becasue mine wouldn't fit where I need them to go so I had to fold them once more into a square. Thanks for resonding.

I pretty much do what you do, just so they fit nicely in a basket when I roll them up and fold then in two when i put them away in our linen closet.

I fold mine the same way. We call the ones you use in the bathroom wash cloths. The ones you use in the kitchen wash rags. My mom folds hers once also.

I do like you and have a small square. I think the rolled ones are very pretty looking, but I don't have time to get that fancy. I'd never thought of just folding them once. I don't think I'd have room to do that, I keep them on shelves in the bathroom along with the hand towels and bath towels.

Yes, the rolled ones do not take up as much room and they fit perfectly in a wicker basket on the countertop in my son's bathroom. Thanks for your response.
