Our own friends on here, members, are causing problems for us.

Clean up mylot? They don't get any cleaner then you. You are the model poster and participator. Trying to figure out what is going on here is just as bad as trying to figure out the IRS. lol.

I feel you pain Margie. I have tried and tried here. I used to have a 10 star...and it dropped and will not rise again. I used to post at least 80 times a day concentrating on responding to my friends...but that had dwindled down to me responding maybe 10 times a day and having my inbox over 400 unread messages of only notifications from myLot for new friend discussions. I have been working hard for 7 months and I constantly watch my number fall just when I think I have made up for loosing. So, besides being very ill lately, I am also hurt but all that is happening here. In turn...I have barely been on. Hopefully things will be straightened out and all will be well. Until then, I will stop by here and there.

People are probably jealous because you have so many points. It's really stupid... it seems they have nothing better to do with their time than tattle on others. If they spent half as much time posting to discussions as they did tattling they might have as many points as you do.

Thank you for informing us. I have been wondering what was going on. It seems that my points are going down and then they are not accruing as quickly as they used to. It takes for ever to earn any money lately.

Are we talking points for your star rating here. If so, I really wouldn't worry about it - the whole star thing doesn't actually do anything practical. It is just an incentive for children.

But why ?Our friends?I'm not against to clean up but if anyone do something really wrong,and I'm sure you didn't.Specially if it's our *friend*even if go against the rules of mylot we can ask him ,or just tell him that it's not allowed. I say again I understand some members want be mylot police here but do you know anyone want hurt you,because I'm sure if just want to do the right here they will not find anything against you.Do you have someone at your mind that can do a such thing to you? Or I'm too stupid here for I understand how anyone can act like these?

i know it's hard. I have posted same discussion here before but i did not lose points, but my rating dropped. I said on that discussion that at least there are some feedbacks why we are losing points or rating. My point is, if i'm not happy with your responses, i can put "-,-,-" on your responses and that's it!!! Anybody can do that for no reason at all. I hope mylot can see these problems. It's so unfair for us working hard posting and making good reputation and in one day GONE.

It is very sad to see that mylot members are doing this. I will remove anybody in my friends list who has been a part of this. I wonder why do people try and do such things, they must have a lot of free time.

I have to say that now my feelings are very hurt. I am one of your friends and I have never done any mean or malicious action against any of my friends. I was (am?) a member of the so called MLPD and all I ever did was report and alert others to cheaters. I am not a spy, "power??" has never gone to my head because I never had or wanted any power. So do not paint all your friends with the same brush. If you feel that way then all you have to do is delete your suspects from you "friends" list.

It would seem that there are some very malicious people out there hun, and obviously jealous of your good name and reputation. I hope that the situation settles down soon, it is very hurtful when you see all your hard work going to waste.

Margie, you are absolutely right. I used to have a user rating of 8, which I had to loose just because someone had reported some abuse against me. I was innocent, and just told that person not to write the one-liner posts in my topic. That was my folly, and this person, a very old member of mylot, seriously reported an abuse against me. I wrote to the mylot admin too, but didn't get any help, and had to loose my points. I felt really bad, and felt that mylot authorities should really do something to handle these sensitive issues tactfully.

Somehow I must have missed the other post to which you referred. I plan to find it so I will know what is going on. In the meantime, hang in there. There are many here who do appreciate you.

I am still fairly new to this site, but I can't help picking up on the undercurrents and drama. Why are so many people complaining about their "friends" here on MyLot? I thought it was just a nice place to enjoy civilized discussions.

I've read about something like that from others comments. I was only about 2-3 days old at myLot at that time. A comment said, someone was putting her down, and her points getting down everyday. Well, I thought crab mentality just happenning to my country, I never thought it is worldwide. When someone is doing her way to the top, a jealous one, will do her best to pull you down. Do not worry real friends are here to support you, and I am one of them!

I feel you shouldn't worry about all these things and keep posting on what you feel like, there are many members who are working in a huge amount they have made up a small community where they only answer themselves and they are making good money doin that.

This is all so sad. We are trying to have a nice little discussion board where we can have friends and have nice discussions. And other members are causing people to lose their points. It is sad. There is no need of it and someone in admin should put a stop to it immediately.

I hope my friends aren't sabotaging me here. That would be awful. I would like to think that all of my friends here are doing what they are supposed to be doing and not turning people in for silly stuff and complaining about things that are notreally breaking any rules in Mylot. My points have went down a little also so something is definitely going on. I try to post with quality and respond with quality also. I guess all of us are going to have to be alot more careful with the company we keep.

I am in agreement with you, margieanneart. I have lost points before and I hope I am not losing points again. I beginning to feel the pinch now that my rating has gone down. There are members out there who think they are "clever" enough and rating minuses or reporting others. They want to be the superstar.
