I think I have it on one foot. I am not sure but I am the kind of person that will not take medicines. I would like to know if there is any home remedies that you have used that really worked or what you do if you have it?

Feet - Two Happy Feet
1)Tea tree oil is a potent natural antiseptic and fungicide that will help fight your fungus. Apply undiluted tea tree oil with olive oil to the affected toe nail. Alternatively you can put few drops of tea tree oil on toenails and rub it thoroughly every day. 2) Vicks Vapor Rub any people swear by, is vicks vapor rub. This may seem like a surprising treatment - it certainly was to me. The treatment is very simple - rub vicks vapor rub on the affected nails, twice a day. As simple as that. I actually found this treatment to be very beneficial and it is certainly cheap and easy. 3) Listerine mouthwash Soak your toes in Listerine mouthwash. The powerful antiseptic leaves your toe nails looking healthy. 4)Oregano and Olive oil Blend 2 drops of Oregano essential oil with a tsp of olive oil. Apply this mixture on the affected area daily for NOT more than three weeks. Oregano essential oil has antiseptic, antibacterial, antiparasitical, antiviral, analgesic and antifungal properties 5) Vinegar Try soaking the infected nails for at least fifteen to thirty minutes daily. The recipe: one part vinegar to two parts warm water. Allow six weeks to see a cure.

Besides the home remedies listed above, my mom says that she has had luck putting iodine on her toenails. I tried this and it didn't work for mine so I had to go to the doctor and get a prescription, but she said it worked for her so if this is still a problem for you, you might want to try it. There are different types of toenail fungus though and some may respond better to different types of treatments.
