Hey friends, Few days back I was to buy a new computer and I got stuck between a PC and a laptop. People told me that laptops dont have life, and we know PCs dont have movability. Can you please suggest me what is a better option for home computers: a PC or a laptop?

IN my opinion .i will buy a laptop. For it is convinent to take along with .and also it's can be cared and with a long life. Secondly, it's screen may decrease the harm to your eyes.anyway a laptop is more wise for your beautiful eyes.

Hello rakhii! What do u mean that laptops dont have life... I am using a desktop now, but I would like to have my laptop in the future. I just can't bring my desktop anywhere unlike for the laptop where i can bring everywhere...There are lots of high-end laptops now where you can choose from so it can also have the same functionality as of the desktop.

Just think of yourself: Are you always on the road for your business? Or you're just staying at home for your business? In that sense, you could realize which is best suited for you to buy!!!!

I guess it really depends on what you plan on using it for. I know I use my laptop 100 times more than my desktop. I can laze around the house wherever I feel like and surf the net.

The portability of a laptop is great. However the PC is a lot more durable and I find it to be much more user friendly. Little things like the mouse on a laptop turn me off. However, I sure like to be able to carry my computer around with me :)

With the advent of Wireless technologies nowadays. I guess Laptop is becoming more popular. You are right that Desktops are not that movable vs laptop that it can be move and in addition, it is a space save since you could easily fold it and keep it safely unlike desktop where you really have to save some space in the house where it will be placed. I am using desktop right now but if I could have a budget to buy a laptop I would. It is becoming more practical than destops nowadays.

if you use computer for home only, choose a PC. If you have money for a laptop, you get a high quality PC.

It all depends on how you are going to be using the system. If you are the person that travels a lot and needs to be constantly connected to the internet and or information on the system, then a laptop is definately the way to go. If you are good with hardware in computers, then you would want to go the build your own route and make it a tower because it's easier to add on to. In terms of life in a system, contrary to popular belief, they are all about the same.

Maybe I'm biased because I am typing on a laptop right now, but I would definately get a laptop. You can take it anywhere with you. They are as effecient as desktops and as long as you can take care of it, it will have the exact same shelf life as a desktop!
