Ok, quick update to let mainly my dear friends know that once again I'm not going to be around much for the next week.
As most of you know last month I had a writing assignment for an e-book and ran into problems on every turn.
The day before I submitted my finished work my boss e-mailed as soon as I finished he had another e-book for me :) Love the money but whew it's hard switching gears from one topic to a totally different one in a matter of hours.
Completed and submitted the second and had 4 days filled with myLot, housework, and my new project the online store that still doesn't have a name and isn't open for business yet.
Last night received another e-book assignment - this one is going to take a tremendous amount of research soooo....
I'll be reading all new discussions when taking breaks but will only be able to respond to ones that really touch my heart or need urgent attention.
Please wish me luck on this task and if you are led to pray those are always very much appreciated.

Wow, sounds like you will keep on receiving a lot of writing assignments from now on. You sure have a real hectic schedules. I'm glad that you are having a blast with all the good opportunity coming your way. I'm still waiting for some "miracle" to drop from the sky to show me what's in store for me, LOL! I am thankful and greatful for the work but at the same time I look forward to producing more of 'my own work'. Ghostwriting pays the bills but no glory in it - know one ever knows I wrote it. :(
I'm really getting excited about the store - I've come up with a bunch of ideas but their on hold for the next week at least...

Thank you but this discussion is that I am going to be very busy so I am certainly not interested in any site to make money.

Isn't it a shame with our professional life gets in the way of having fun, especially on myLot. I wish you the best my friend, that is wonderful that you are writing and getting paid for it. We will miss you but we will be right here when you get done. Take care.

I know, it stinks I would much rather just be playing around here - but :( myLot doesn't pay the bills...

Thank you so much for the prayers Doc Bob :) they do work, I've gotten a lot done today even with my daughter here (boyfriend problems) and now my 4 year old grandson is spending the night - he's off to the park with his uncle and friends right now :)

oh my dear friend I am so happy to read that you have so much job!!! of course I am here to encourage and support you and of course I am here to tell you..good luck. am sure that everything is going ok and I am sure you are succeeding. anyway you need time and concentration and a lot..a lot of patience!!! I hope to read from you soon, this meaning you finished your work and you are satisfied with it..but don't worry about mylot..this is a place where we can always return after a while and feel welcomen and at ease.

Will miss ya sis, but i understand. Good luck on your work and your research. I know how it is to do research. Its not an easy thing to do. I haven't been on as much either because even though I love mylot. the money I make just wont cut it for me anymore. So, I have been doing other things. Besides wolfie left and that makes me sad. :(

Oh I actually love the research part - it's just remembering everything and then putting it into words that's difficult sometimes - here I can just write from my life, experience, or heart. Not so with the 'techie stuff'

Yes, I have been very blessed with this job. I had never written for anyone else until last year when I happened upon this business. For the last 6 months it's been almost paying all bills and I've gained a lot of knowledge and experience.

Afraid I can't share that information - there are hundreds of writers on myLot and if the word got out then I may not get steady work. Sorry, may seem selfish on this one but am sole supporter for my son and I and need every bit of work I can get.

Thank you dear I'm afraid I haven't always 'had faith' when I was younger I couldn't wait to change my name, I couldn't stand it. Then when I was old enough I couldn't think of a name I did like. When God turned my life around and I came to truely know Him I figured out there was a reason for my name - and am so thankful.

Well, we sure are going to miss you again. I remember you saying that you were working on an e-book assignment. I'm sorry you had problems. I know it must have been hard to switch from one subject to the other in a matter of minutes. It sounds like you have been a very busy woman. I know it will be very hard for you to find time to come into Mylot since you have so much work on your hands. I sure do wish you much luck and success on your new e-book. Did you get the PM i sent about a week ago??
Had my 3 month checkup with my Psych. dr. and am doing just fine!! See him again in 3 months. Made appt. with new counselor as mine left the practice. Got a letter from SS Administration saying they were going to review my case and then a couple days later got another letter saying they decided not to review my case at this time. Know I need to stay in touch with a counselor as if/when SS does decide to review there will be current notes on me and how I am doing. Dr. did note that my oCD and Manis emerge at any attempt towork. Thoughts of wil I still have my job next week become obsessive.... get all wound up...
I would think it would help if my counselor recommended I not work...
What do you think??

LOL - I would but to be honest I could use more myself, I'm getting by on what I make but do need a little more each month.
Actually I started writing part-time last year for a man who writes himself but kinda took on more than he had time to do himself so decided to take on a few writers.
Now he's hired 2 managers and all he basically does is his own writing and bidding on jobs for the rest of us. Early this year they decided to branch out into e-books, we were just writing web content articles and blog entries.
For some reason I'm not sure what they decided I was best to 'head-up' the e-book section so I get first dibs on all e-book orders we get. As the owner and managers put it "Faith's the e-book expert" LOL knew nothing about it until we got the first client :)

I am praying that God will send something my way. There are so many sites out there that are just scams, and really want your money instead of them paying you. It's frustrating because I want to be able to do what I need to do with my kids, and the grant writing allows me to do that, but I want to write other things too.
