What kind of person will you ask for a help in a strange place?

In our whole life, there are many moments you encounter some problems. We need help from others.
If you went to a place for the first time, you didn't know how to get somewhere you've got to go. At that time, I usually resort to some senior people because they are those who are trustworthy for me. If you meet some troubles in a strange place, what kind of person will you ask for a help?

when the first i was in strange place, i am looking for the person that is old enough that i know i can trust of it.Or if i can see police i prefer to ask with them because i know that they will tell me the good direction.But sometimes when i ask question with them and i zm looking of the face and the way they talk.Because you can feel it if they will tell me the good direction or if they know the place i am asking to them.If i am doubting i will ask again in other person.

If I were in that situation than i will ask woman or old man to help me.
I don't really like to speak with stranger, and i must speak with someone that i look is safe to help me.

I had that situation just today, when I couldn't remember where a local post office was in a neighboring town. Fortunately were were right near the library. I figured I'd go inside and ask the librarian. I got out of the car, and coincidentally two people emerged from the library, so I asked them. They were getting their bicycles out of the paddock, and I'm a bicycler myself, so I knew they'd know where the post office was.
Funny thing though. neither looked quite right in the head. S'Okay, though - I don't worry about the mentally challenged. They tend to tell the truth more often than really smart people do!;)

i will ask a person who is living over there or doing some work their or any one else for help in a strange place
