What happened to RAY?

All I have to say is WOW! Last night's episode was one of the best in a long time. Except for the sappy Tony/Sara story line. I'm so over that. I nearly cried when I saw Ray for the first time. But I give him an big applause for his acting abilities. Did you see the faces he made? His anger, rage and resentment? Great work! I don't want Neela with Tony, but i also wonder how hurt she is. We can't have two invalids in the show, that would just seem to much. And I can't believe Abby just let it go when that new chief said that to her. I may not have slapped him, but I certainly would have given him my two cents. Totally inapropriate. I half expected her to say something like 'well, I wasn't sleeping with Carrie, I wasn't sleeping with Clemente, so I think I'll do just fine, thanks'. But no, she let it go. So disappointed in her. But it looks like this might be the reason she leaves.

I literally cried when I saw ray sitting there without his legs from the knees down. He did an amazing job with his acting. Being a nurse, that is EXACTLY the faces and rage that I have seen in persons who are amputees. (early in the process) I so want he and Neela to get together. I learned a lot in reading the responses to your discussion. I didn't know that Luca and Abby were not coming back. That saddens me! ER is such a great show!

I know! I was like "who is that girl?!" And, Ray's mother treated her like one of the family. I don't think what happened to Ray was Neela's fault at all! I know I have said this before, but I never liked Ray all that much in the first place. If he also blames Neela, than I really don't like him at all. The new chief is a jerk and was out of line saying that to Abby.

I wanted to cry when I seen them pick up Ray and he legs were cut off. I think he will blame Neela for that, but I think she didn't get hurt that bad. I was so sad for Tony, when the little girl grandparents came get her. I think he will loss custody of her, she is not his daughter. And yes, that new guy is a total jerk. I really hate his attitude. I can't believe that Abby let that comment slide. I can't wait for next season.

yea I started a dicussion about this last night after the show. I doubt Ray will come back but if he does as other have said he will be totally different,another twist in the storyline. Ray(the actor) pulled off the whole thing great and I would hope he doesn't blame Neela but who knwos. The Cheif is a jerk but I see him growing on all of us,he is tring to make things better,the comment he made to Abby was way out of line though.
