ALL the time. Usually I think of a good one while we are in a store, or driving around in the car and by the time we get home I have completely forgotten and usually I won't remember either! It drives me crazy, maybe I SHOULD write it down! Now if I was in bed, I wouldn't get up to write it down. That's a little too much for me. Usually I fall asleep fast though, so not too much time to think, lol!

Yes, I had very good ideas but when I woke up in the morning I couldn't remember what it was. I have the memory of a mouse. Like you say, we should write down the ideas so we won't forget.

Oh No! This is a sign that you have developed a myLot addiciton! It is time now for you to spread your wings and develop more addictive behaviors associated with the addiciton. Behaviors such as, carrying a notepad with you wherever you go, placing a notepad and pencil on your bedside table, and arranging for someone to clean your house since you will likely beging to neglect to do so on your own! HeHe!!! I really do keep a notepad beside my bed, not just for jotting down myLot quesitons that I think of (which I have done!) but for other things I suddenly remember that need to be done the next day. That way, I just roll over, turn on the light and jot down my thoughts. Never having to get out of bed!

I have laid down in the bed also and thought of a really good discussion and I got back up out of the bed and wrote it down so I wouldn't forget it the next day. there have been alot of times I have thought of a good discussions and didn't get up and write it down and totally forgot what it was the next day. If I am not too tired, I will always get up and write myself a note about alot of things or get something done that is on my mind.

Yes, I have done that and I used to keep a notebook or piece of paper by my bed on my nightstand and a pen. If I thought of something I would job it down in the dark. LOL it was messy but I could make it out enough to jog my memory of what I thought about. As you get older, like me, you have a tendency to have to do that in order not to forget. I have forgot what I got up from the chair to do and retrack my steps to try to remember, most of the time it works. LOL

I have a suggestion that may help. Try laying a pad of notebook paper and a pen on your nightstand or other convenient place beside your bed. When you get such ideas for discussion or other writings turn on your light and write them down immediately. Then you can't forget them because you've committed them to paper.

That happens to me all the time!! I have to write things down or I will totally forget!! I will write a list of the discussions I want to start, and I have a to-do list every day. If I didn't I wouldn't get anything done, or remember what needs cleaning or whatever =) I usually have magazines by my bed with a pen so if I think of something I can write it down so I won't forget!!
