Is there a better time ot the day that your discussions get more comments?

I have been a mylot member for a few weeks now and I'm just getting comfortable with this site. I have not been much of an internet user until now other than researching and going on to You Tube now and then.
I have noticed that a lot of members get many, many comments in a short time. I'm sure first of all the discussion must be appealing to a large number of members. Besides that is it the amount of friends they have (popularity)? or is it the timing (a better time to throw out your discussions)? Some of my discussions have never been answered and I'm not sure what criteria it falls in.

I think if you start them right away early in the morning, you may get more responses because in different countries, it's a different time so you may get responses from them earlier on and then people from other countries later in the evening.

Well I'm told having a lot of friends helps. Also writing in your intrest section helps as well. Also if you look at your friends discussion first, because they are more likely to go to your page and see if you have written anything new. I'm still new here to, so I'm still learning.
