Viral marketing

I also dont know what's this? Is it different than normal marketing and MLM?

Viral marketing is similar to MLM but different. MLM has mutiple levels, viral in some ways have the same qualities but most of the time it provides users greater benefits rather then a more sales type orientation. That's as far as I have understood it so far.
