They say that the right place to pray is at the church, some says in a silent room, some feels wherein they feel close to nature. So where do you think the best place to pray? and why?

Since God is everywhere and with us all the time, anytime and anyplace is the right place to pray. We can pray in our cars, work, schools, church, store...wherever you like! You don't have to pray outloud. God knows your thoughts. I like to talk to God a lot all the time. It's the greatest thing to be able to talk to our Lord and Savior at anytime and anywhere! God bless.

personally i don't pray (never have, most likely never will) as i am not religious. but my answer to you would be, if you are so inclined to pray, then do it where you feel most comfortable, and closest to your god. if you feel that your prayers will be best heard in a church, then go and pray there, if you feel more comfortable in your own home praying, then stay home. i have many friends who hold religion, and they pray whenever and where ever as they believe that god is with them no matter where they are, at all times.

I think the best place to pray is wherever you felt lead to pray at. Some days I will pray in my car riding down the road and other days I will be in my bedroom or front room. I've prayed at work with the kids I work with (Christian School) and with other teachers. I think it all depends on the situation and what you are feeling. I definitly pray in the hospital with sick loved ones or a friend/family member that is going into surgery. I don't think there is a right or wrong place to pray.

I don't think that the 'where' I pray is all that important. I pray with an open heart to God, whether I am in the car, in my room, in the kitchen, while taking a walk, or even when I am cleaning the house, the times I have felt closest in prayer is when I prayed fervently with an open heart.

i tell my kids that you can pray anywhere you want to. i dont feel that you have to go to a church to pray. god hears you anywhere you are. for some, praying makes a person feel better and less stressed. so why should you have to go to a certain place?

because sometimes your place is full of stres, and some seek a certain place to feel the presence of God.

I pray all of the time where ever I am. You don't have to drop to your knees and pray out loud to pray. It's something just between you and God. I talk to him just like I'm talking to you. There isn't any pretend "holier than thou". Just pray.

To whom do we pray.To God.We are all God's children.Suppose that your son or daughter is studying in a college and staying in a hostel. He needs some money as tution fees or exam fees or he is going for a picnic from the college. He calls you over telephone for the cash.Would it make any sense that if you insist him that he should come to the house and ask then only you will give the money.I think you would not.Because he is your son and being the son he has the right to ask from anywhere and you would give it.Likewise we are the children of God and our God is not a senseless God to insist that we should go to a particular place and ask then only it will be granted. If we understand the God in the true sense and if we worship him in the soul and truth then there is no need to go to a particular place to pray. The case for the church or a common worship place is that it will induce a feeling of togetherness.Remember what Jesus said to the samaritan woman.True worshippers do not worship the Father on a mountain or at church but in truth and soul.So let us pray in soul and truth

I dont pray myself I actually meditate but I would ahve to say that WHERE really doesnt matter as long as you are comfortable and somewhere where you can give your prayer your full attention...I mean you could pray on a busy subway if needed of course but aside from spontaneous prayer I'd say WHERE really doesnt matter

The best place is church but if you can't go to church, you have to find a suitable place and silent, for example, in your room to pray. You have to get concerntrate to pray.

Hello a_ce_e, I think the right place to pray is in a church. If you are at home, then you should pray in a place where it is quiet, preferably in a room.

There is no specific place to pray. It may any place where you will get concentration of mind. I like a crowded place where I will be least noticed than any silent place.

the right place could be anywhere, you find comfortable praying. the church is a place to worship and pray but for everyday, find a room in your house where you can be comfortable and undisturbed to pray. for me my bedroom serves a good place to pray.

I think it doesn't really matter where you are when you pray. God is in your heart therefore you can pray anywhere. As long as you are willing to pray there is nothing that can prevent you from it. The best place is anywhere you are and willing enough to pray.

I don't think there is a "right place" to pray. For me, I can pray anywhere, My God is an omnipresent God so He is everywhere..I need not go to church to talk to Him or to pray..but of course I still go to church not only to pray but to have fellowship with other believers.

It really doesn't matter where you pray. All that matters is that you have a daily talk with God and take your concerns to him in prayer. It is usually best in a quiet room but it doesn't have to be. I have prayed in the middle of the store if I felt the need to or heard of a prayer request.
