how long is to long to wait on someone your dating to make a commitment, how long do you wait for them to give a 100%, how long do you wait for them to have a relationship that is 50/50, how long is to long to wait for them to have a relationship with your children , is 7 yrs to long , how long would you wait? how long would you wait if they always had the excuse that they have to finish their house before they can give 1005 into the rlationship, how long is to long when other things come first bfore the house!? how long is to long to just date when you want something more?

Sounds like its time for you to move on. If you've waited 7yrs for this guy to committ fully, he is never going to and never will. You said you have children, is it by him so someone else? This guy sounds like a two timer and is never going to committ.

For me, 1 year and 6 months was TOO long to let someone wait for you "YES" in getting into a relationship. It's my time to really say yes because I knew I was already ready to commit. My present bf now waited for me for a year and 6 months. I decided to say yes eventually because when THE RIGHT TIME comes, it hits you right infront! Long is too long when the RIGHT moment comes and still you don't decide nor do something about it :)

Wow..7 years is a long time. The longest I have casually dated someone is 6 months and then we decided that we both didn't want to get serious with each other! So for me I would say in 6 months, I would know if he is worth it! I would hope by 7 years you would know someone a little better than that, i mean that is not fair keeping someone waiting for that long unless they were ok with it!!
