Do you USE KETCHUP AS A dip for you FRIED FISH?

Nope, not weird at all. My children dip their fish in ketchup... the youngest dips in mustard. :) I, personally, prefer either tarter sauce or plain mayo. I would probably use ketchup, but I don't really care for it.

I am pretty sure I have but for fried fish it is not my preference. For that I like to use tartar sauce or shrimp cocktail sauce.

Here's the weird thing about me....I really hate ketchup. I mean I reallly hate it. I can't stand the smell, and I definatley can't stand the taste. I kknow it's werid becuase Ketchup is such a popular condiment, especially in America. In Fact, many people don't believe me when I tell them I hate it. As for my fried fish, I'm much more into putting tartar sauce on it. I really like tartar sauce in fact, and have even made my own before. I also like malted vingar for my fish, and especially for my fries.

No it's not weird, I think many people do it like you. But I personally dont eat that much of a ketchup (it makes my stomach feel funny afterwards) and therefore, I don't use it to dip my fried fish. I am more weird *laughs*, I like salad dressing or mustard for my fried fish, I think it tastes very good too!

No you're not weird coz im doing that too. I use ketchup for fish,porkchop,fries,eggplant,chicken,etc.. It tastes really good.

i eat crispy fried milkfish with vinegar and ketchup too :) so great with rice and tomatoes. i also love ketchup on anything like with the butter and corn in a cob, jackfruit, burgers, dumplings, porkchop, barbeque, chicken nuggets, and fried chicken.

Oh definitely, it tastes pretty good with fried fish.

I don't think that I have ever tried ketchup with my fried fish. I have fried fish pretty rarely, but when I do have it, I like to have it with tater sauce. Then I'll put the ketchup on my fries if those came with the fish as well. I also like malted vinegar with my fried fish. Some fish and chips places keep it in the table and it is so great on my fish and chips that sometimes it even makes me skip the tater sauce.

I think it is a little weird to use ketchup with fish. Most people I know including myself use tartar sauce. But to each their own as long as you like it that's all that counts!

LOL. Hello kooulet. You're not weird at all. I also like to dip fried fish in ketchup but I do this after I smother it with a bunch of hotsauce but I like weird things. Yesterday I had a tuna sandwich with the chedder goldfishes in the middle. Yuummmy! You should try it!

na nothing wrong wit some ketchup on some fried fish put some hot sause wit it and u'll be in there.

I do not eat non-veg like meat and fish. But I am a wholesale dealer in ketchup. I know most children want ketchup as a side dish for many items.

All my daycare kids love to dip their fishsticks in ketchup. Ok, they like to dip everything in ketchup. I don't think that is weird because I eat ketchup on many things too. What is weird is my 6 year old who likes to dip her fishsticks in pancake syrup. Yuck!

Yes, I love ketchup on my fish. I like to mix ketchup and hot sause together for my fish. It tastes very good. You are not strange, it is quite common actually. I used to use lemon juice on my fish, until I met my husband 3 years ago. I have been using ketchup and hot sause since then.

It depends. If it's fried chicken or fish fillet then yes I use ketchup. But when it's other kinds of fried fish (like tilapia) I find soy sauce better. With lots of chili :9
