FRiends! Why Bad things happen to Good Peoples? is a title of a book which I want to read but I haven't got ot yet. I saw this book in hands of one passenger in train when I was coming back to my home after compleating my heiger studies. I can only read out the title of book there after I am still searching about this book on various book store and book stalls. I haven't read this book yet,but its realy a question in mind Why Bad things happen to Good Peoples? probably I can find answer in that book.Have you read this book? can you tell me this book is about what? If you too haven't read it no problem, any how lets have a discussion on the topic depending upon experiences of all mylotters from all around the world. Do you feel that this happens? I personaly feel ya this happens in many case. when we look around us there are many people who all doing bad to other and still living without fear they are most corrupted and they are happy.on the other hand few very honest people who always thing good for others are suffering badly they are not happy with there earning as they are finding it hard to fullfill there basic needs even. bad peoples who are making money by illegal means are enjoying in big houses luxary cars and they are more respectful in society.what could be the reason behind this should everone be involbe in illegal activities to genrate money and to live luxurious life. what do you feel, think please share your views.

Although I have not read the book with the title mentioned by you. And yes, I too agree with the statement that bad things happen to good people. Probably only good people will be able to withstand the trauma of going through all these.

well..the topic is pretty cool and interesting!cumin to me..i am of a very strong opinion that nuthin in life is really gud or bad..it might sound very philosophical...but then i make sense...its all ones outlook towards life...how well..are we ready to face the different situations...so calld bad things dont happen only to good people...they happen to everyone but then we sympathise only the good ppl who suffer..its only for good people whom we sit down and offer prayers...one might argue wid examples of gud ppl who are sad...but happy life...and happiness as all about the way you treat a situation...one can treat situations of distress are opportunities...and they handle them wonderfully...everyone faces their own share of sorrow and happiness..but sum live it all wid tears in their eyes and others wid trust in themselves and their effort..thts makes d differnce.... with regards...

well in a positive way of thinking it is testing of the gold. bad people become bad people because they can't handle bad situation and choose wrong path. good people are good people because they handled the situations correcty and came with good outcome. whitch means it is the criteria for differentiating good people from bad people.

According to Hindu belief, bad things are happening due to the sins done in the previous life. If we study the sign in, we can understand to some extend, what sins we have done in previous birth. This period is said as 'Kaliyuga" and in this yuga, "puraanas" says that praying to lord is the best way to overcome the bad effects of sins. It is true that people doing sins are living well. It is belived that they are enjoying the "punnya karmas' or blissful deeds done in the previous life. They will also have to face difficulties after their good period is over.

I think the book is supposed to be a funny one..but anyways coming to a general viewpoint. I believe that whatever goes around comes around. If someone has done something bad, then something bad will happen to them sometime n life. Maybe not even this one but the next. Its all about karma.

bad things happen to good people at the same rate that bad things happen to bad people and good things happen to bad people and good things happen to good people. its random. also, there is no way of knowing if a "bad" thing is actually "bad" or "good" is actually "good". this is because there are many different ways of looking at it. one may say that a "bad" thing is a "good" thing because it provides experience. one may say that a "good" thing is a "bad" thing because it makes one spoiled. then we go to the idea of "too much of a good thing is bad" then is "too much of a bad thing is good?" then we get into the idea of "heaven" which is "too much of a good thing" and "hell" which is "too much of a bad thing" that is why heaven and hell dont make sense, and why nobody knows what a "bad/good" thing truely is.

You know...I've asked that question so many times...and this is what was explained to me: If we didn't have bad things happening, we wouldn't be able to appreciate the good things.

i havent heard of the book before but it is the truth it seems. its like people that screw others around tend to have alot more and less problems. i guess that is why i am poor and have lots of issues lol i dont have the heart to be mean or take things from others

Life is full of ups and downs and yes sometimes it feels like good people get the short end of the stick, but we learn to grow from these crisis and become stronger people in the end.

I believe in the above quote that bad things happen to good people. I have seen many people under this category. Sometimes I try to ask God why is he doing this, what is this partiality for? Why is he not taking care of people who are good and believes in doing good to others. I have not yet found that answer, but I wait for the day, when God himself proves this quote to be wrong......
