I hear people say alot that gays and lesbians are born this way. I however do not believe this. It is a sin and a ticket to hell to be this way so why would God choose for people to be born this way. I just dont agree with that. Dont get me wrong, I have nothing against gay men or lesbian women but I just dont feel they are born into this type of behavior.

Yes it could be hereditary. It could also be because of lack of hormones that is appropriate for one's gender. But also the biggest factor is the environment where he or she grew up in. It could be the greatest challenge that God has given them. It would be up to them to turn away from it and try their hardest to stick to what God wants them to be. I've seen a documentary about this gay individual who was a complete gay and pimp at the same time. He was enlightened by God and now he is trying his best to become a man though it is very difficult for him. The effort and will of becoming a man I guess is what would really count in the end.:)

Thank you for your response. I think if they really want to turn away from being gay, they can, its in their mind!

No, I don't believe so. Although it puzzles me what could have created homosexuals, it never came to my mind that it was congenital. That's just, er, ridiculous. There was this time when a gay friend of mine questioned God. He said, "If God is so perfect and righteous, why did I become gay?" I was horrified to learn that my friend is blaming Him! I mean, God gave man the gift of free will. So he shouldn't blame God, because he chose to be gay..

I cannot answer your question, just want to share something. I remember a certain boy who lived along the area. I knew him as a great kid who love his parents so much.he has to work with me at such a young age just to help his parents, i dont see any sign of being gay that time. But since life is hard, he learned to work as a barber. an oppurunity knocks and was able to work in japan. to my surprise when we met again, she was already a beautiful girl working at a parlor for women. I cannot understand how did it happened? He said , he has to do it because of a chance to work. So, it was his choice but not borned to it.

A transexual is NOT gay. Your friend was a transexual, not a gay man. There is a huge difference.

I don't believe either. All i know it is because these children are being motivated against their natural sexes. I know some mother who are desperate to have a baby girl, thus treat their little boy a girl, dress them like a girl and don't even teach what little boy does. So as soon as they grow up, they've been confused with their gender, thus development of their emotions influenced too. Lesbians are also same way as gays, but there are some whom their father had influeced them a lot, more naturally this young girl had admired their dad too much and wants to be a carbon copy of him, some are just hate how female been treated. Just my point of view.

I actually totally agree. There are mothers and fathers who have daughters but wanted sons and so they end up treating at least one of the daughters like a boy and vice versa, that is sad!

No I do not believe people are born this way. They choose to become this way by running from one pain to find another. All of us must fight through our journey until we find our way. They just have given up.

All relationships have pain they are simply running from one kind of to another kind of pain its still uncomfortable being vulnerable no matter what your persuasion

No Kimmy I dont think so. Im not gay so I dont know from that perspective but all human emotions are similar. The pain of heterosexual love is so painful that they run because they believe it is easier somewhere else. The Grass is greener or easier syndrome. But once theyre in it they find that caring for someone can be painful no matter what and they re messed up and have a stigma internally or externally.

I believe it is a learned behavior not a genetic disorder or order. Therefore I believe that everyone has a choice. Di I believe traumatic events can happen in ones life to make one gay yes but it is still a choice. Some women who have been raped become lesbians. Some men in prison who get raped become homosexual. But it is still a choice.

I think we are all what we are. There is no rhyme or reason. We all have our own personalities. In todays society love is love. What matters is, as long as you are happy with yourself, and who you are. It doesn't matter what others think. I also belive God knows that everything is not black & white. Look what happended with Adam & Eve. So why would being gay be any different? Live life to the fullest!! cause you only live once.

You are right, we can only live once. However, if God really did understand that everything isnt black and white then why would he have put what he did in the Bible, he said that in tbe Bible and the Bible is the guide we are suppost to follow!

Personally I don't think it matters if people are born gay or if they choose to be gay. What a person finds attractive, who they love, who they wish to spend their life with is the very core of their personality. If they're not hurting anyone, what's it to anyone else? If it is a "sin", let God deal with it in His/Her way; it's not our job.

of course they are not born that way. Everything is at psychological level. Have you ever seen somewhere in the nature gay animals? Maybe I don't have such great knowledge but I don't know any.

if you have nothing against gay men or lesbian women why are you bothering to ask the question at all?? who cares....they are gay ....deal with it.... what i object to is people hiding behind a book that was created to keep the masses downtrodden and subservient, written by as bunch of blokes who all contradicted each other about a deity that does not exist but thats just my opinion and i guess i am as entitled to air it as you are to your opinion

well, some studies proved that homosexuality may actually be genetic. i think it would be unfair for one to say that choosing or accepting that condition for oneself is a ticket to hell, but hey, i respect your perception.
