Village - Town

My son returned from his grand father's home which is in a village. He was very much happy there. He told me that he played with cow and calf, learnt swimming in the pond One of the interesting thing seen there for the last few months , scores of peacocks are coming from a forest nearby and wandering here and there in their compound without fear.
My question is ' now more and more people are interested to settle in the city leaving their village. Is it true in your place? So what is the reason?

villages r definitely good but cities r much more accsesible.....cities r provided with numerous educational,financial and health facilties which r lacking in villages...cities provide us security also with numerous job opportunites....but definitely cities r polluted which we will not find in villages..cities lach spaces to dwell and fresh air to breathe...visit to village wud always be adventurous but cities r good for permanant settlement

Personally, I prefer villages. Today with communications no longer a issue, a village life can be much more rewarding than a city life.
