im gonna sound terrible but if its keeping me awake its annoying. first of all i give him a wee push to see if he will change position, if that doesnt work sometimes i pinch his nose (not for more then a couple of seconds) just long enough for him to open his mouth. that usually works........although last time i tried it it started of a coughing fit lol i aint done it since

I try tapping him a bit first. Then I will russle about in the bed until I can get him to to stir and move a bit. If it gets really bad I will try to roll him over, or wake him up gently and tell him he is snoring.

I go through hell with my boyfriends snoring. He has sleep apnea and snores so loud, sweats like crazy, tosses and turns every 2 seconds and steals all the covers! Then he complains that hes hurt when I dont sleep with him and "dont like him". He doesnt believe its so bad. Ive tried everything earplugs, fans, and now in our bachlor suit Im having to sleep in the front dooorway entrance on a foamy. The earplugs dont work because my earcanals are so small, the fan broke so I cant use that. Last night after 3 sleepless nights i resorted to turning the shower on which sounded like rain and covered his snoring! I know this is bad to waste water but I was desperate. Boyfriend was pissed in the morning though! Apart from this have no idea what to do unless he gets surgury.

I sendt my man to a sleep lab. They found out it was worse than just a snore. It may be more than just an irritating sound keeping you awake. It may be good to check it out. My man got a spray that he is to put up his nose before bedtime. It helps! He also have patches, like the ones athletes use, that he puts on his nose to widen the airways. They help too! the last option is to sleep in separate rooms. We do when he has a cold and the usual remedies does not work. Oh, and weight loss will help as well.

Since I don't want to disturb his rest, I try to get get back to sleep by putting a pillow over my ears, if that doesn't work I get up and start writing. Might as well do something worth while if my Night is ruined.

you might as well, go to bed earlier than him. if he disturbs you by snoring again, at least you had some sleep. remember that the right amount of sleep at night makes us looking younger because the body develops the so called melatonine, only during our sleeping time.

usually when you take all the blankets off of him and he is freezing cold, he will wake up and be like what the hell is going on here? thats when you say, honey your snoring and i cannot sleep, i dunno why it works, but it does, i guess cuz their body is cold, its focus is on getting warm again, but he will stop for at least 20 minutes or so....once he gets warm again though, he will most likely start snoring again :( sorry, i know its mean to take all the covers, but you gotta do what you gotta do right?

my husband only snore when he is really tired and exhausted the whole day and when it happened i always tap him and wake him up to tell him that he is snorring in that way he will be aware..and everytime he snores i always ask him to sleep sideways to decrease the possibility for him to snore..i don't get mad or annoyed just because he snore...

Well, My husband snors too and it's so bad sometimes you can't sleep for hours at night. He has used patches before, it helps a little but he does not want to continue using it. He belives I should get used to his sleeping habit.
