What's going on with people here?

Yeah, it's been pretty crazy around here! I missed a lot of the drama, but a friend filled me in, and I can't believe all this junk! So far I'm just trying to behave normally and hope it calms down here. I am sad to hear that people are leaving, but I suppose it happens everyone, online and off. People move away, and new people move in. I've made some really good friends here, and if any of my people I'm close to leave they had better give me contact info for them! I haven't had too many problems with deleted posts, but my star has been wonky. I guess I don't care that much about it, to be honest. I'm still having fun here, and that's the main part to me. =)

Unfortunately, with a site this size and with the amount of people frequenting it, we're bound to get personality conflicts, but there have been some nastier than usual people on here lately who seem to enjoy starting conflict just for the joy of fighting about something. Don't get me wrong, I like a good ol' fashioned debate, but making a catty remark about someone else that you know will result in hurt feelings? You have to be a pretty small person to do something like that. MyLot should really just get rid of the star system.. users put a lot of emphasis on their ratings, and get really hurt when they get lowered. I see their point.. I'm a 10 now, but if I dropped to a 7 tomorrow, I'd be really hurt.

I am one of the first persons who join this site and one of the first who leave it. I have saying that several time I am here to make money and for the fun. The fun is O.K there are a lot of nice people here but that is not enough to be honest some post I make just because of the $$ I will get but there are a lot of post that I made for myself, say the truth, help some one. Like I said the fun o.k but only fun is not enough I like to be paid for at do. So, the first week here was very good I try to make mylot more popular in my country. Everything was good it was week 2 I made more than 6$ I said wow I made more money here than everywhere + that I love to post here. After watch carefully 2 week with same tempo of posting I made just one dollar. I just say to my self Ok everything is fine it will be back at normal. When I begin I made more than 1$ pay day after I made my 7$ I needed 2 months to reach my payout I said ok I will stay until I get my money finally after 3 months I reach 10$ the money that I should reach in 10 days. I said ok I will stay a bit more I have been paid 18$. I post a question how much you make for 100 posts they say the numbers that I made my first week. I ask several times mylot and I just left my account with 5$ and I say ok I don't want this money I don't want to post 3 more months to get that money. I opened new account the same thing. I say ok mylot just discriminate me so I will left as I do so. Yesterday 5 months later I start to post again to see if something will change and I am back but if they are going to discriminate me on the same way just I will say to everyone who want to make money that my lot is one scam I know it really pays but that for me is scam one day to post 100 post from 2 words and to make 1$ and the other to make 200 good post with +15 words and to receive 20 cent that is just not fair.

This site has had a really bad DOWN time lately. I've seen quite a few members pack up and leave. I almost did the same. But I'll stick around to see it go back up hopefully. The glitches seem to be the worst culprit as of late as well as the deletions that ran rampant a few days ago. I seem to be getting mylot cabin fever as of late also. Don't know why the stars are so important. Like you said get rid of them I feel. Let others rate us and not let us see the results this way. Just let us post and respond etc without this worry about popularity. It seems all a contest and also for some a means of revenge for stupid reasons. Thanks and have a great day/evening. Hello,desertdarlene,few days ago,there was a big glitch in mylot which the rating of most of the members were reduced by 10-13 points overnight,luckily mylot had dealed with this matter seriously and the glitch had been fixed up quickly. But still,our posts are still subjected to deletion without any reasons and our points are reduced mysteriously,some members have left because of it,and it may be a loss to mylot as the top poster ws gone.

Don't let those things bother you. There is really nothing wrong with myLot. those who had their discussions deleted are mainly because they violated the guidelines set by myLot. Although some claimed that they did not. It is up to them to take the matter up with myLot and not to be discussed here. As for those who left or are leaving, that is only a fraction of the members. I am still having lots of fun and things are going great here.

well, I thought of quitting but I changed my mind. Mylot was having problems. but they straigten them out. I am glad that they did.

I've come across a couple discussions talking about nasty stuff and long time people quitting. I don't know what's been going on either. I haven't been caught up in any of it. I've been chatting with friends and posting as usual. I enjoy MyLot and hope that doesn't change!

I don't know what is going on with some people. I don't argue with them anymore, I just report them and leave it up to mylot. Yes, a lot of long timers on here are getting fed up and some have said they are leaving which I am sad about. You are not the only seeing this. I think that mylot should go through and cancel out the people who are causing trouble. It is a fun and informative site to be a part of. I have really enjoyed myself on here and learned so much.

YOu are not the only one who has seen that. Of course, some of who were going to 'quit' were also back in a matter of a cople of days. I guess they have their ups and dows, and taking a break could be a good idea. There are some strange things going on here lately, and Iguess people are having strong reactions. I just lost $2 and am pretty irked about it. I am hoping by tomorrow I will be back to where I started yesterday and it's pretty messed up, but I don't think I will quit. Not this month anyway.

i just wish that some people understood these are all of our OPINIONS! we are from all over the world, so don't diss on someone's spelling or language faults/barriers. we're not supposed to be judging others. if you don't like a certain discussion, simply don't reply, if you don't like what someone says, just ignore it, unless you have constructive criticism, and then watch your words! this is a great place to vent, relax, put you thoughts into words, no matter what the subject! some people are just bad, and i think just want to start crap. makes it not so fun!!! great point/discussion to bring up desertdarlene!!!

I'm a newbie to mylot. But I hope things get better so I have a chance to make more friends.
