Do you need patience to help you cope with your blessings?

There are so many wonderful blessings- having children, for example, that certainly do require patience and strength to truly make the most of it. Smaller blessings can be just as -interesting. Have you needed help or at least patience for the blessings you were given?

We need patience in everything we do . Like you said we need patience with our children because as much as we love them there are still times that they can try on our patience when they are trying to get there own way . But we also need patience for the small things like when you are waiting to find out if you are going to get something that you have your heart set on or something that you have waited a long time to have or even just knowing something good is going to happen the next day . Patience is something we have to work on all the time to try and remain calm and patient when something is going on .

I think that everything in life is a blessing, i do not yet have children but my pets and fiance require my patience. They can be frustrating sometimes when you want them to do as they are told or if you are trying to have a conversation with my fiance and he is not paying any attention. But such is life.

My children and husband are the greatest blessings in my life; but I've found that to truly enjoy them I do need to make time for myself. While I love them all dearly, they each have their quirks and habits which makes them who they are. I wouldn't want any of them to change, but at the same time I do need to get away sometimes so that I can refocus and recharge to be the "mommy" and "wife" that they need me to be.

I guess in all the things we need to face and deal with, patience is always a requirement. Without it, we wouldn't go far and wouldn't be able to accomplish our task. I don't depend or rely on anyone for help. I have been tending to my girls and doing about a hundred things all by myself. One thing I observe, we seems to have more patience as we grew older.

Yes, I have to have patience with a lot of my blessings- children, husband, parents, brother, etc. Sometimes I think that if we didn't have any family we would be a lot better off and that our life would be much easier. My children and my husband are some of my biggest sources of stress and yet they are the things that I love and treasure the most!!

We're told that patience is a virtue- I know it's a necessity. I enjoyed your response.
