Well we got word back this morning from our loan officer about closing on our house. We were expecting, after all of the hoops we had to jump through to get to this point, something else to pop up preventing us from getting the loan and or closing when we were wanting to. Didn't happen! WE ARE CLOSING at 10:00 am on June 15th YEAH!!!! NO MORE RENTING. We can finally paint a wall when ever we get a wild hair to do so.

Thank you for that!! I hope you are also able to come back and tell us that you and the baby are doing just fine. LOL no more episodes of delivery at home, okay? That would have been absolutely terrifying!! I really believe that if we can accomplish this, then anyone can. Of course that's being optimistic about the realty prices in your area of course. LOL However, when you do achieve that goal, i hope we're all still here on mylot to be able to celebrate together for you, too!

Thank you!!! The inside's a lot prettier. LOL Most of the inside has been remodeled or redone, so it's really nice. Wow, baby #8. you must have WAY more patience than..well...anyone i've ever known!! That's a big part of what we've been doing was paying off debts. thank goodness there weren't many.

Ahhh Thanks I think so far so good this is baby #8 for me lol....28 years old and no big problems except for the heart burn and Charlie horses =) As far as buying a home for sure my biggest thing is paying my debts off first to have a nice clean start =) I will have to work double so I can see all my good accomplishments. I again just want to say CONGRATS!!! and by the way the house looks beautiful! Best wishes Stacy

Can I ask what's going on with him? I know it's maybe something that's hard to talk about, but i'd like to hear about it.

Thanks for the thoughts. We are done with the therapy he was provided through early intervention. Now the school system has to take over; so we are going for the eval/placement meeting.

Congratulations! You must be so happy, this is great news. I live in a rental apartment and it's awful, nothing is better than having your own home. Good luck!

LOL yeah, but real estate is A LOT more expensive where you live, than where we live!! We'll be so excited to get out of the rental, and start building equity for ourselves, and not for the rental company!

Thank you so much for the congratulations! LOL i think before we even move stuff in, we're going to paint a wall! I'm so tired of this white that EVERY rental property in the world has. And i believe you that in a few years we'll be painting things, and be so tired of it we can't see straight. LOL but for now, we're going to enjoy just HAVING the option!!

Wow, congratulations!! Myself and my partner along with my three children are hoping to do this in a couple of years time too! The wedding (next may) comes first though LOL. I know exactly what you mean about being able to paint a wall whenever you get a wild hair to do so. I'm so jealous LOL! Congratulations again. I hope the move goes well for you guys :o)

LOL my wife and i did everything completely backwards. We met, we fell in lust and mutual affection. We moved in together. We broke up for a couple of weeks, we moved back together. we got pregnant on the depo shot, had a baby (and he's beautiful too) got married several months later, and now several years later, haha, we're buying a house. LOL Thank you so much for the congratulations, they are deeply appreciated!! LOL I find my wife just standing still sometimes, with a faraway look on her face. She never thought child, marriage, house and small yappy dog were for her, LOL and come to find out, they were!! but we're just so excited about this and couldn't be happier!!

Wonderful house...congratulations....yes you do get to paint your own walls , mow your own yard, and do all those things that homeowners get to do, but it is so much better than having to pay out rent. I know you are going to enjoy it!

CONGRATULATIONS! That first house is truly one of the best feelings ever, especially when the mortgage you are paying is building equity on your future. And yeah, there's something for being able to do what you want and when you want. Don't worry if it seems a like a work in progress always - your home is supposed to be that! The joy in making changes as simple as painting a wall or as grand as redoing a room will get you more excited and make it more yours with every effort. Every change will be for you and your taste. That house will reflect the people you are and how you choose to live. There's something to great for sure in that!

I thank you. your response was beautifully put, and completely right. We are very excited. Although right now it's kind of a spastic for finishing packing and cementing the details on the actual moving day. The days are dragging...and flying by at the same time!

Enjoy it and yet when it's time to move it won't seem like you are ready and once in your house it will frustrate you that it takes so long to unpack and make it right for you. Enjoy that too. You will love being there and putting it right for you. Your excitement will continue and defintely is to be relished and enjoyed.

LOL we're so excited! I truly believe that if we could do it, anyone can do it. We thought we wouldn't be able to buy for about 6 more years due to cleaning up our credit, and having money for a down payment. LOL well, the down payment got covered by the state, and we paid the stuff off on our credit, but they're not making us wait until it falls off. so, good luck!! and when you guys do go for it, i hope you tell all of us!!
