Do you trust new member that come to myLot and right away start recommending money makeing sight. why do you or why don't you. I like to wait until like to waite and get to know them better before Joining their recommendation. I'm not a very trusting person until I get know the person. There are too many scams out there to waste time on them. if a newbee start advertising their site then I tend to think they ae just looking for referrals.

I usually look at the sites themselves and then see if it's worth wild. If it costs money to join, then no I won't go. Trusting I can be. I try to get to know the person a bit better before doing something like that.

Yeah me too, I take a look around the site and I ask other people that I know if they have used this site and if they or anyone they know have cashed-out before.

. It is a good idea to ask around to see if some one is familiar with a site.

I dont know it's not always easy to figure out the motives behind each poster. I'd just trust your instinct.

I tend to think the same way you do. I have been on the internet for about 3 years earning online and I know there are alot of scam sites out there, believe me. It is against Mylot rules for us to post referral links in the forum as it is. I have narrowed down the sites I choose to earn from and all of them do pay me every month. I do try to promote them sometimes but I am very skeptical to join new ones until I know they do pay. There are many sites out there and alot are a waist of time with really small earnings and some never pay. I think the new members are just looking for referrals also and they have no clue that the site more than likely won't pay anyone.

I like to join stuff and help other friends here..we all kind of help each other..We all try to look out for each other not to join scams, though nothing is fail proof lol, we have to use our instincts of course. I don't like it if people are only posting their links all over the place and not responding to any one's discsussions or joining anyone else's programs, when they just want to do stuff for themselves..I think a bit of give and take is good on all sides..

Thats what I'm talking about. Nothing wrong with posting about the programs they are in but they should join the community as you have put it and contribute more than the money sites.

well i first check out the site and i am also careful before signing up under them as a referral because majority of them are actually out to seek a referral hiding under the guise of telling us about money making ventures

I have promoted some of my programs on mylot. My programs cost money to join ($10-#30 a month)and no one wants to pay the prices from mylot members for my programs, even though I do make money from them. So I quit promoting here on mylot. I have also offered that one of my program doesn't cost a thing, because its a group of marketers that have gotten together to train people on how to market their own business on the internet. We train for free and there is no strings attached. And no one took advantage of it. So I just quit all together in promoting my programs here. Unless they came to me looking at my website then I would help them.. Other then that I am not wasting my time promoting my programs here on mylot..

I think most people here don't want to be puting money into something that might not pan out for them. or they are like me and don't have any to spare on taking a chance on it for the same reason. Thanks for stopping by.

I'm cautious now. I went to check out some supposed money making sites from some blog that was from a person on my friends list that never responds to anything of mine. I wasted my time, and from now on I'm going to avoid those types of sites. The one I wasted my time on was a place where you're supposed to make money doing surveys. I probably spent 3 or 4 hours filling out surveys and I have nothing to show for it. It's more fun to earn pennies here at mylot responding to fun things that my friends post.

I tried a few surveys and all I got was my name pot in a drawing pot. So no more surveys for me.

I don't care so much is person new or old. If I know person and I can say he is kinda friend to me, it is ofcourse different thing, but amount of post doesn't mean anything to me. I probably wait until someone say something about site. When there are lot of opinions, then I might make my mind. I probably try to find more info about recommending before joining. I don't even try to make fortune with different programs, I am trying to make money with my blog, but if I hear about good and working program, why wouldn't I join it.

I am not a very trusting person, either. If my instincts tell me that I should not go with the flow with this website, I won't indulge with so many websites claiming to give pay-outs. I'd rather register with one reliable website (my Lot, of course) and stick to it and prove to myself that it's really worth it. It's much fulfilling to actually enjoy the site (and earn dollars as a bonus) and share with others, to interconnect, participate. I, personally, have registered with other money-making sites, but up to this moment, haven't received any centavo from them.

I am newer here...well had an account for awhile but don't post much. I have joined one program through here and was paid (this was someone who had only about 20 posts). I did do my research, though. I checked with the bbb...and never go for sights that make you pay. I do belong to wahm.com board, though, so I sort of know what are scams and what are not. I make a few hundred a month, but it is not completely easy work, lol. Anyone who claims to make thousands and thousands a month are probably pulling your chain. http://mymoneyallfree.blogspot.com/

Yes those you defently should stay away from. Did the person with the 20 just post and refer to his money site or did he join in other discussions too? I'm sure we all will appreciate you goving this website. Thanks

Whether a member is new or older we have the responsibility in checking out the site for ourselves. I admit, that I would be a bit more cautious if someone is new and the only posts they have are about money-making sites. Still, that doesn't mean they aren't trustworthy or just looking for referrals. But, we should always use discretion. I joined a site because I had read a post on here and the member seemed to have a good reputation and had been here for a while. For the few days I was a member of this other site, I was making money, but unfortunately I was getting LOTS of phone calls and spam emails lol This wasn't the member's fault, nor anyone's really. It just wasn't for me. So my conclusion is that we have to use caution all the way around, but be open to someone possibly sharing something valuable with us, whether they are new or an older member.
