what a awesome feeling to be away from smoking, so much better, my health is. I took my ashtrays and washed them up and use them to display my gemstones now! :) never thought I could do it at first, but with the wellbutrin I have been able to stay away from smoking for 4 weeks, and so has my husband....and I have stopped taking the welbutrin 5 days ago and still feel good! :) I will never again pick up those nasty things and will enjoy all the extra money we are already saving and plan on spending some of that extra money on treasure hunting trips! :)

WooHoo, you go girl, and extra hugs to hubby for taking the same step. You just gave me a great idea. I have an old ashtray of my mom's, and it is unique, very 50's. It looks like a large leaf. I will find some treasures of some kind to display in it. I had let my sister use it when she came over, when she smokes on my porch, but I would rather have it displayed beautifully. Keep in touch here, and we will support you the best we can. Have lots of fun treasure hunting.

yea, fingured the ashtrays are worth keeping, rather keep something nice in them instead of throwing them in the cabinet forever.

I feel as a non smoker that smoking is injurious to not only one's own health but those whom they come in contact with. So it's great when somebody is able to quit smoking. And it feels nice that you and your hubby are able to enjoy life away from smoking and your health is also improved. Keep it up. And use the extra money you both saved to give yourselves a treat which you both deserve. Cheers:)

Keep up the good work. You have come a long way now so don't give up without a fight and try to keep yourself busy in some hobbies if you feel like smoking. Once again I am congratulate you on becoming a winner and may god keep you in good health always.

Am glad you are seeing the benefits so quicly. This should carry you through until that is no longer an issue for you. As long as you don't replace this habit with another that will become a problem later on. Weight is one of those things to keep an eye on. Addiction to exercise might be a good alternative. Good luck in whatever you do.

That is great news for being smoke free for that long, congratulations. I have never smoked so no idea how it feels to give up, but my husband used to smoke and he gave up and stopped about 7 years ago now.

Congrats on Full Month Done! Now be sure to hang in there really strong and firm until you're past 4 months. It'll be a roller coaster until you get near 5 months under your belt. Just always remember that craves don't last that long and you're starting to get really good at fighting them. Not one. Ever. Never again. :-) I am 3 years, 7 months, 1 week, 5 days quit. Yes, I still keep it on my desktop. It's THAT important. You're both doing a wonderful thing for yourselves and each other. Nic freedom is a gift..enjoy!

Good for you! You should be really proud of yourself. And I love the using ashtrays to put gemstones in, I think that's great! What kind of treasure do you go hunting for?

Good for you. I always wondered if Wellbutrin worked. I know there is a new medicine out called chantix but I am not sure if it works. Maybe I will try one of those.
