What is the dumbest thing you did this week?

Yesterday, I locked myself out of the house and had loaned out the spare key to my brother, who was visiting me. I had to choose whether to wait for somebody to come home or call my husband, who would have to waste gas coming home. I decided to wait for somebody to come home and had to wait two hours. After this experience, I went out and had another key made, as it caused me to get behind. What have you done lately? Please share as I felt about 2 inches high and am sure there must be somebody else out there that has locked the door without their keys.

yeah, I've locked keys the house, locked them in the car, all that... The stupidest thing I did this week was get in a verbal argument with my landlord regarding move out issues. Which is brilliant since she is in charge of my security deposit and I doubt I'll get it back now. She got mad because I moved out early - I still paid the full rent, but I had the utilities turned off, and she expected me to leave them on! She also expected me to hire a professional cleaning service to clean the house. I hired the neighbor, who is our friend, and she was upset about that too. Grrr.

I'm so sorry that your having a hard time with the landlord. In college, my landlord charged me for damages that I didn't do can understand a bad landlord. Hope things look up for you soon. Best wishes on your move.

I am sorry your not feeling well and hope your feeling better when you read my note. I'm feeling cold thinking about 40 degrees, which doesn't happen often in this area. My thin skin would need a lot of layers of clothes. Best wishes and hope you are feeling warm now.

We do indeed; however, this area never gets cold, so what is cold for me most people will tell you its warm or hot. My area grows a lot of citrus crops, so a freeze means high prices and lots of grumbling about grocery stores charging a lot of money for strawberries, a head of lettuce and other produce.

Thank you momma, but i think we measure the degrees differently here. $0 degrees in israel is a very hot weather.

I've been locked out of my apartment before, but thankfully when I moved in my dad made a triplicate for my keys. Both he and my mom had a set. But the dumbest thing I've done this week was probably going to Hobby Lobby and getting to the counter with my stuff, only to realize I didn't have my checkbook with me. (I knew I didn't have cash) I'm so grateful my mom happened to be there so she loaned me the money and I was saved from a lot of embarrassment.

I'm so glad your mom was there to save you from being embarrassed. My neighbor this afternoon asked if I'm fine when I picked up the mail. I have managed to go to the grocery store without cash, so can completely understand the helpless feeling.
