Did you learned dinosaur names on yout own? Were you discussing with your friends which one was the stronger, the taller, the older...? Do you prefferred carnivore or herbivore dinosaurs? Which specimen was your favourite? Were you all thay driving your mother crazy "momma, buy me dinosaur stuff"? I did, of course. My favourite one was the Velociraptor.

WOW and YES. lol When i was young i went through a dinosaur phase and i still find them fascinating. I learned about them in school and television (i loved the "Land before time" movies. I used to beg my mom to buy me dinosaur things.. but as the years went by she got a little carried away. I remember when i was around 7 maybe i was a little dissapointed to see even MORE dinosaur related gifts for Xmas and not much of anything else. I remember i threw a mini tantrum when i opened a gift a saw a little stuffed dinosaur. That was it! I felt so bad about it though and quickly told mom i loved it! I have that stuffed dino to this day (20 years later). I keep it by the computer and my mom reminds me about it every time she comes over. She also still gets me dinosaur gifts for Xmas as a joke. lol. My favorite was the dimetrodon which is not actually a dinosaur but a pelycosaur. Shows how much i knew back than. lol.

Yes. When I was a kid eventhough I am a little girl I was really obsessed to dinosaurs. I watch dinosaur movies, I read dino books, I post posters of dinosaurs in my cabinet and I play with dinosaur dummies. Yes. I learned about dinosaur names with my younger brother because of what we see on television. We sometimes discuss that the older dinosaur is the strongest. I prefer herbivore dinosaurs. I like long neck. No, we don't drive our mother crazy by telling her to buy us a dinosaur.

I thought this kind of obsessions were mostly for boys... it is good to know it is unisex! Anyways, I expected that girls like better herbivores tan carnivores...

Edmontonia - armoured dinosaur,
What do you mean when you were a kid? I still find them fascinating. I like to read about the new ones that they are finding all the time. If I was healthier and could camp would try to go on a dig. out in Wyoming or Montana.. I liked them all. I had to se the dinosaur movies when they came out too.

Yeap, I was kind of obsessed with dinasaurs when I was young. It is so interesting to unfold the archeological mystery millions of years ago. The carnivorous dinasaurs interest me most especially the T-rex. It's a killing machine! It's so amazing when I first watch Jurrassic park, where all the relic creatures were brought to life again.

Oh, my son and you could talk for hours. He is a dinosaur freak and can name them all. Other than Velociraptor, T-Rex, Brontosaurus, etc, I have no clue. He was just talking about some dinosaur that is like an Ostrich. I still don't know it's name..lol. I got him dinosaur bedding for Christmas and when we get our house, his entire room will be dinosaurs !!

When I was a little kid, I don't remember being excited by dinosaur books or movies, so I never discussed them as a child. But since movies like the Jurassic Park series and Godzilla came out in the last decade, my interest in dinosaurs has certainly been rekindled. I guess I am living a second childhood. Maybe the interest stems from the advances in movie-making, because the realism in these shows is very good nowadays, making these creatures very life-like and believable. My favourite dinosaur is the mean T-Rex.

I wasnt at all but my daughter was and still is actually..she's been a dinosaur nut for about 6 or 7 yrs now and the older she gets the more intense her obsession LOL I have no complaints though because it makes her want to read educational books and watch educational programs on tv so I'm all for it ;-)

I really liked dinosaurs when I was younger. I didn't really have a preference, I liked them all. They really fascinated me. We had (don't know if it's still there) a placed I believe that is called Dinosaur Land where they have statues of all sorts of dinosaurs with little placards telling a bit about each one. I loved going there. No matter how many times we went, I never got bored of that place.

I was absolutely obsessed with dinorsaurs as a little girl. I loved the triceratops the best. Now my own oldest son is following in my dinorsaur footsteps. :) He has toys, books, stickers, movies, you name it. He loves dinosuars. Right now his favorite is the t-rex.

very much so. I was also an early talker, and looked younger than my age, so people were a bit freaked out by what looked like a baby talking fluently about dinosaurs. hehe. when I was very little, I loved Tyrannosaurus, and a bit older I fell for Triceratops.

nope.. i am more into the transformer stuff. would always want my dad to buy me a transformer robot. never had any dinosaur for toy. :P It's a good idea to have dinosaurs as a collector's items though. read all about dinosaurs and find their toy models in the toy stores. :D

I wasn't so much into Dinosaurs but prehistoric mammals. I found the process of evolution so fascinating as well as the fact that the Earth was so different throughout history. I could imagine how these animals lived and what environments they have lived in. I know there are a lot of kids who love dinosaurs, mostly boys. They get so excited when they see a good dinosaur book.

Yes, I was. I read books about them, watched TV shows about them, assembled plastic models of them, I even had dinosaur stuffed animals, everything I could find. I memorized their names and characteristics. I liked both kinds, but I guess I though T. Rex was the coolest, so big and fearsome. I liked the huge variety of dinosaurs, from T. Rex to the lumbering brontosaurs to stegosaurus with the plates along its spine to platosaurus and ankylosaurus with its armored back and club-like tail.

Nope I don't think so. I love watching the Jurassic Park but aside from that I think I didn't research any further. But my son is showing interest in animals so maybe someday when he grows older I might teach him some facts about dinosaurs.
