The Abominable Snowman .

It could be a reality. there have been many shows done on the subject. I don't know what to believe, but there have been many sightings and many different villages with no relations to each other have seen it or them out and about. So, who k nows, maybe there is such a creature!

I think you have made little spell mistake, Sukumar; because this is the spelling Britishers were using for YATI. This word is also transformed in our local languages as JATI. Some how the real mythical character is YAKSH! The hero of Meghdootam was Yaksh, which was a poem written by Kalidas. There are other mythical characters also; Kinnars and Gandharvas! They are also belongs to Himalayas mystic places and it is narrated as Swarga!There are assumptions that they are from subtle world but could come on earth directly! Who believes accept this!

I am sure there is a possibility for some sort of a person to be frozen there, but I am not sure of how much of him is reserved since the time he was first frozen.

well until the this creature is found it is a myth, once there is indisputable proof then it is reality.

I think people belonging to earlier generations have seen it. The specie has been on the verge of getting extinct or already must have become, just like the mammoth. Mammoth too were thought to be only imaginary creatures until a body of frozen mammoth was found buried under show.

There is no question of reality. Other it would have come earlier, now how many years we hear this story.

I am not sure if it is a myth or actually true. I would like to belive this creature is true. As this creature has been spotted and seen all over the world. But given different names. Depending on where the creature was seen. How do we know these creatures aren't the true aliens people claim they have seen and that is why they can disappear or appear in the blink of an eye?

I think that it is what you choose it to be. There has been no actual proof. However, there has been no proof that it doesn't exist. I think that people who have a good sense of adventure or immagination will look at pictures and say yes there it is and it doesn't exist. Then you have the people who are very narrow minded and only see in black and white. These people say it is a myth because you can not prove without a reasonable doubt that it exists.

We have our own furry here, "Big Foot." Is there an unknown, upright hairy ape? Cool to talk about it, but I'm waiting to see one actually found (or the remains of one anyway.)

I think the creature may fall in the same category as the Loch Ness monster in Scotland, Big Foot in the Northwest US and maybe UFOs. I've never seen any of them, but that doesn't neccessarily mean they don't exist! Centuries ago no one would have believed in creatures called germs, either!

It could be a reality. Somewhere in the jungle of Malaysia they have discovered huge footprints resembling human foot. They are on the lookout for this creature but so far have been unsuccessful. These creatures are popularly known as 'bigfoot' here.
