public service from mylot - Mail alert - find kelsey.com

I just got on to mylot and saw I had an alert and it was an email to help find the missing girl from the target store in Kansas.
I think this is a great public service that Mylot is offering. It gave me a warm fuzzy to see this, there is less then 100K of us, but it might make a difference.
What do you think of this and what other public service items could you suggest for mylot?

Just thought I would give an update. It was announced on the news they believe they unfortunately may have found this poor girls remains. I am really feeling bad for this family right now. My heart goes out to them if that this is the case.

I was very impressed by this and told MyLot so. I would also like to see Amber Alerts. I know those would be in America and there are a lot of non Americans here, but what if the person who kidnaped the child fled to Canada? Or England? So that is what I'd like to see. The Amber Alerts we see on TV, I'd like to see on MyLot.

Yes, I think nationwide Amber alerts would be a great idea. It is so easy now for people to travel and get from one part of the world to another in just hours.
This is a viable medium.

I saw the alert when it came out. I thought it was noble cause. Even though it would be unlikely anyone of us would have info on the missing girl, well, we never know who might have seen her, & where.

When folk cannot log in and when we email management and not get an answer timely if at all. Why would we suggest more for them to do. Fix things first and then add stuff. I hope help comes for the missing individual however would be nice to be participating at a fully functioning site.

I love this too- They could even run Amber alerts across the top of the main screen- I love mylot- They really seem to have big hearts- and listen to us- I'm saddened to say that she has been found- not alive- but that they have the person that they believe did this in jail- So I'd love to see Amber alerts- and other things like this! Way to go Mylot!

Yes I think this is an awesome idea. I hope this is something we will all be doing. Word of mouth has always been the best way to advertize anything. No one seems to write letters these days but everyone looks forward to Emails and text messages. The only other service I can think I would like to see myLot offer us is a spell checker. This is definately a great addition to MyLot. Unfortunately the news was that they found the young girl's body. I am so saddened whenever I hear of these tragedies. My prayers go out to her family.

I felt good about the alert, and it might make a difference sometime. I cannot think of any other public service at this time that myLot could perform. It is good that they did this, though.

Those amber alerts may help, sometimes. This time it did not, her body was found today.
