I was watching my favorite thief show ha ha ha Lupin last night and then when its commercial, I go to other channels. Accidentally, I see this feature in he news stating the NEW PHONE THAT REPRESENTS YOUR STATUS SYMBOL.
The phone's name is Vertu. It has a leather back which is so cool. Its very sensitive that you even need to use a special screwdriver, included in the kit, to insert a SIM-card. o_0
There are many features this phone and the shocking fact is that it is so pricey but it has NO CAMERA!!! omgee.. The overall camera is so luxurious that's why it does not have to have a camera or else it can have the price doubled!!!

Hello,mskzalameda,I will not buy cellphone without camera worth 6000 euro,I think it is better to buy a cheap mobile phone,for me,i will only use it to have phone call occasionally,i do not really use it for cameras. I do not like to have an expensive cellphone as I am afraid i will drop it onto the ground or loss it.

I really don't think that your mobile phone is a status symbol, it is a tool, it's the thing you use to make your life easier, to make communicating with the people you know that bit more convenient. I certainly wouldn't go out spending thousands on one especially one that had no camera. I like the phone as a multi function handy tool and the camera comes in handy sometimes.

i agree with you fully bananamanuk! it's just a tool. we don't buy it to label our status symbol. it's not connected neither way.
for as long as the phone is functioning well, even if it's not as expensive as that vertu phone, i'll be happy already with it... anne

yeah I know that it is just a tool but for the rich peeps out there who have some airheads, they would definitely buy this one to make the world see that they're showing off how rich they are.

I have not seen that cellphone yet so far. Surely it comes with alot of great features in it. A camera should be included with it but why it has not? Maybe if I'm one of the millionire in this world I could buy one but I'm not that rich to do so, lol! I need to be more practical, specially in spending the money I earned.

the camera is not included because they said, only the material of the phone is so expensive and can't afford to put a camera, maybe it'll be more expensive when it has ha ha ha! so expensive that I don't wanna look at it ha ha ha!

at 1st when i started readin it i was like no not goin down buying a phone that cost 6000euro (not sure how much euro is but sounds to much) but then i seen the site. and i kinda like the design on it. plus how many people u goin see walkin around wit the same phone as u. so if i had money like that and just wanted to burn some money then i would buy it. looks kinda hot

well maybe the seller is thinking it can be sold for high price...maybe they don`t found the right price...However best example is to buy cheap phone for less money...imagine with 6000euro u can get 10 or more phones for all family members :)

i won't! it's too useless and senseless, too.
i am a person who loves taking pictures of everything, anything and anyone at anytime i want to. so, a mobile phone with a camera in it is always handy for me.
i love my nokia N73 and i have been using it for 10 months already. even if they say that that vertu phone is to uplift your status symbol, i will stick to my nokia N73. i don't care about status symbol. all i want is the feature of a phone which fits my personality, needs and interests in life... anne

it's absolutely a big NO to me
among all the luxurious items i know, vertu is the less i expected
i don't think it's worth enough for the price
if the owner is a careless person, and he dropped the phone, wouldn't it be tragic ??

i also don't think it's appropriate as a status symbol
it's just a phone ?? but what can i say ?? LOL

You really ARE obsessed with cameras these days aren't you? lol Thanks for the info on that phone I would love to say yes I'll go get one tomorrow but no way would I spend that on a phone , even if it is so well made and resilient - samsung aren't losing my business just yet! xxx

I would not even buy a cell phone with all the latest gadgetry for $1000. Why would I buy one of less quality for much more? I know people who keep trading in their cell phones every year for new latest models but as long as it functions alright, I do not bother with getting a new one,

I don;t know how much the Euro is in dollars but I wouldn't pay that much money for a phone without a camera. I am thinking of buying a new phone for about $150.00 after the rebate and it has a camera. That is a lot of money to pay for a phone and it not have a camera.

i am sure that i do not have that much moeny to spare for a cellphone. so just count me out. it may be the best cellphone there is for the time being but, as always, it will be my budget and the affordability of hte unit which will make me buy one. i cannot afford to buy units for luxury in my present financialstate. also, by your description, it is one which whill discourage the user to be changing sim cards from time to time. that will surely cut the habits of those who keep lots of sim cards.

now that's interesting , what does it do ? and oh man ... for 6000 euros i'd rather buy a new car... i am satisfied with a regular cell phone, so anyway , nowadays people are used to have video cameras on the cell phone, cell phone evolved from a brick phone to a smart phone wich can record videos , make photos, access the internet and listen to music... a 6000 euro cell phone is kinda weird without video camera !

Oh no, I'm not very keen and particularize what's the most stylish or newest mobile available. For as long as a camera met the criteria I needed, it doesn't matter if its an older model or less expensive. Why waste money on a mobile without camera when you can availed the more popular brands. If you have lots of money, maybe you can buy and try it yourself, LOL!

I don't like using very expensive mobile phones. I don't fancy all the features either. When using a mobile phone I'm satisfied with some basic requirements -
should have a good battery,
a good network,
should be able to SMS with it,
should be able to receive calls,
should be able to make calls
A phone with these features is more than sufficient for me. I think that I'll be able to buy 10 such handsets for 6000 Euros!
