How do you get motivated to do housework, I was watching Anthea Turners Perfect Housewife the other day and she's so organised and can organise other people really well, the thing is, I can organise other people extremely well, but I can't get myself organised or motivated to get the housework done, I don't live in a pigsty or any form of dirtyness, but my house is generally untidy, so do you have any tips on doing housework? (Please bear in mind I can't stand for long periods and I can't kneel down). Thank you.

Well, I don't know if this is of any help to you, but just think about one room at a time. That doesn't look like such a big task then, not like if you are looking at the whole house. That is a little overwhelming to think the whole house has to be cleaned at once!

No, can't help. Sorry dude!
Well, actually, I usually find that if I get someone else to start doing something then I will do stuff but that can be hard if you haven't got anyone willing to help you.
I usually get housework done when my partner works late shifts because then the kids are in bed and there is no excsue, I think that he is out at work and I should be doing something useful too.
Or what you could do is tell yourself you won't have chocolate until after you have tidied at least one area. Actually the first answer was good but it might be even better if you do it even smaller, say you will clean a table one day then you'll tidy a bookshelf and go like that.

I wosh I could, housework's boring. I find a good clean through when I'm in the mood then basic stuff for a while works.
