My instructor at the time said I was currently one of his best "students", but I don't know... Either the other guys were REALLY bad, or he was only trying to cheer me up! Hahahaha! I had so much fun, but I got my driver's license without really knowing how to drive properly. You'll see, you'll only learn for real once you get your own car and invade the streets! :P Oh, and by the way, good luck! Go for it, and don't be afraid!

Congratulations! My dad taught me how to drive when I was 15. I learned driving using an automatic so it wasn't that tough. By the time I had to take my license at the age of 18, I didn't find it that hard anymore. But learning how to drive varies from one person to another. Some people have a hard time and some don't.. I guess you'll do just fine.. =) Good luck~!

Oh, it is a shameful experience of mine when I think of it! I took my driving license test twice as I failed the first test. I learned how to drive for about 2 weeks. When I registered at the driving school, I made it clearly to them that I want my license in two weeks time. For the first lesson, I was a bit a afraid cause I never drive before. After 30 minutes, the driving school instructor (an old guy who loves to talk non-stop...pity me!) asked me to drive on the road. I was so happy that I tried to show off (in fact, he helped me to break all the times) I asked him to teach me 4 hours a day for two weeks (which is ridiculous... people learn 2 hours a day!) A day before the test, I asked his opinion on my driving skill and he told me, "If you don't panic, you will pass. You can drive on highway but not on trunk road. You can go to upnorth but don't think you know how to drive home!" (urghhh...I was so angry with the answer!) Ahh...he was right. I failed my test as I was panic when I couldn't move the car! ( I forgot to release the hand brake!) I told the road transport officer who was testing me on the road that my car couldn't moved and he replied, "It s up to you wanna move it or not!" Again I felt so irritated that I left the car there and went back home. That was why I failed my test! So the only advice I can give you...don't panic! You control the car not vice versa. Good luck!

I just learned by watching my dad driving his truck and I started driving an automatic transmissio truck in the country side in Mexico since I was 8 years old it was hard for the first month, and now, I can drive a manual transmission truck.

For most people learning driving is pretty easy.. But for me it was really difficult to concenterate and drive while learning and I quit the driving classes in the middle. I know it is very bad of me.. Now I am plaaning to start it all over again.

I have such diffiuclty learning to drive- I'm stubborn when it comes to following instructions. I always turn the wheel too much and always brake too late. Luckily the instructor has a brake!
