Did you guys just get the new message alert from mylot? they will no longer be using e-gold to send payments. They will use moneybookers instead. I haven't extensively studied moneybookers yet but it seems that our country is not on its list of countries. Does this mean we can't get paid? Can anyone shed some light on this please?

hi jemjem. yeah the moneybooker's site is a little difficult to understand. but i think i get it a little already. your bank has to be affiliated with this "swift" thing. moneybookers will just send your money to your bank. the only thing i can't figure out is how to turn the dollars into pesos. do our banks automatically convert the dollars into pesos? i'll try to ask my bank. i'm not sure if its a good idea to sign up right away. i signed up but it's not so easy to close the account after you sign up. i don't know what should be done next now....

We're still trying to check and i don't think it will be big problem. Maybe they should attend to this kind of problem, we'll wait for some alerts next week.

I think there would be no problem with moneybookers if it's mylot that sends our earnings or money. The currency we should use is USD or US dollars which is acceptable in our country as Php or the Philippine peso is not included as one of the currencies used by moneybookers. I expect to reach the minimum amount for payout this month so I have already registered thru the referral url of a friend who is also a mylot member - https://www.moneybookers.com/app/?rid=3648637 This might even be better than e-gold.

Yeah I have a feeling this will be more convenient than e-gold. My only question is about the dollar to peso thing. Can moneybookers send dollars to our savings account that are in pesos?

Yeah was shock the first time I read it and when I read the responses it seems that mylot admins assured us Pinoys that moneybookers is safe to use for us pinoys. They already assured us provided we give them the details of our bank account and our home address so that it would be easier for them to send the money to us. The only disadvantage I see right now is the fees they are charging us for withdrawing the money. I wonit be receiving payments this month yet so I will wait for others who will get their payments here. I hope you will share with us your experience on how you were able to transfer your money your bank accounts.

Thank you for dropping by rsa101. Yup I think the fees are disheartening. Let's hope for the best though.

Well, waht we do is to pray that things will get better soon with e-gold. I think mylot is not closing their doors on e-gold its just that they want e-gold to finish their case and then renew their transactions with e-gold. Its just the best way to cope here. Or else we wont be able to make any posts and earn here on mylot. I am still postove things will turn out well. Hope you have a nice day!

I think they will have extensively researched this new payment method. Maybe you could look at any posts on this new money site and see what others have said. i find word of mouth is the best research. Good luck.

i was a bit sad, too upon knowing that they won't pay us through e-gold anymore unless e-gold's case has been cleared. until then, we will be using moneybookers. i have signed in to moneybookers yesterday and i am trying to navigate and study how it works. i admit, e-gold is easier to use than moneybookers. but i am trying to be familiar with how moneybookers work. i think we can sign up even if we are from the philippines because i was able to. oh, yes... you really can.. now i remember... good luck to us... anne

This is indeed a bad news. I could not register in this site. I mean after putting my right name and right information this site doesnt allow me to send it. Do you think it will be transfered in our country?. Moneybookers sucks some people only using it and right now I could not imagine using them since most of the programs in the net are not using it as well.

In my opinion this is a very very good news. egold is not safe. Just to share my experience, i have lost $160 in my egold account...when i inform egold management about this and ask them to help me recover my money...they never bothered at all to look into it they even blamed me for making my computer not free from viruses which is bad...they have just provided info about the egold user that hacked my account and where the money went or at least returned the money...this is so irresponsible of them. And now that egold is out of the picture...i feel a lot safer with money bookers because the only way to transfer money is via wire transfer although it is very expensive...at least it is very safe.
