Is it always like this?

I guess it depends on who it is. Sometimes my discussions are slow and other times they're not. It's quite busy for me right now but I am trying to reach a set target I've given myself :) It is slow during weekends though for some reason. ~Joey

I also feel bored now..no one is responding and no good disscussion is coming up..I am also wondering is this because of saturday evening?? Any way happy postings grandpa..:)

I seem to recall people saying that it is slow on Saturday night. I also remember them saying it is slow on Monday as well. I guess part of the world is on Sunday on one or another of those days. Now I am showing my ignorance as to who is ahead of us, and who is behind. Better just leave it stand that for a lot of people it is the weekend, today, tomorrow, and maybe the next day. LOL My inbox is full as I have been doing other stuff all day. I hope to go to the lake tomorrow, so it will be full once again. I will answer what I can, and look at the rest. I have no clue, Grandpa Bob, as I'm usually not online at nite on the weekends. I'm only here now cause we went for a long bike ride and I'm recuperating from it. lol It was fairly hot here and since I can't take the heat like I used to, I almost passed out in the middle of the ride. Thankfully, we were able to stop and sit down in the shade for a bit and take a long drink. Was fine after that. Hubby home now so time to go out and finish splitting the rest of the firewood. Hello,GRANDPA BOB,I have the same feeling,it had been very slow yesterday(whole day) in mylot,i did not have many discussions started from my friends as lastr weekend.One of the reason might be people took a break after they got their payment yesterday.Also for those in UK australia,they will have a long weekend since it will be a public holiday next monday,may be many people have been away already.

You know that is not what you are doing....you got my horsie....damn it.... I been getting my camper all cleaned out and washing bedclothes....we are going camping on Wednesday for 4-5 days.....you'll miss me while I'm gone...HAHA It gets busy in here a little later on Saturday nites....it is almost 6 p.m. here....about 8:30-9p......it will be hoping..... Does Grandma Deb know you took my horsie??? I'm tellin her...yeah that'll work...she'll make you give it back....she'll probably stand you in the corner for a whole hour...,..hahahaha......I'm a scheming!!!!

This is out of the ordinary for me to be on the pc so much today. Hubby has complained about the time I have spent here. But, if you compare it to the time I spent on the pc before I was working, it is so little time that I spend now. I just hopped on the pc to check out directions to pick up my sister tomorrow. So, while doing that I decided to check out what everyone is up to tonight on MyLot. Glad to see your smiling face here. : )

It was slow last night as well. I think it is because it is summer time. People are outside doing more things and taking their vactions. I couldn't sleep. So I was up posting alot. Really just answering more posts than anythingt. Than I started making some pixel signature tags in my paint shop pro that I was so bored.

Hi my friend I just got back I signed my lease so Im locked in and I gave them a security deposit. Its usually alittle slow on here on saturday night. Im not hanging in here to long Im so tired. This packing situation is so tiring.I think some more people will be coming in here but late.So have fun tonight on mylot. And please be good.heheheheh

well i havent noticed that ....maybe others are just busy doing their own thing at home or out for a gig or whatever..

All the fun people are out at barbecues, on dates or partying. I am using the time to catch up on some Internet stuff. It has been slow all day. When the weather is nice, people will go out and do something.

Well it was a radiantly stunning beautiful day here in the big apple...and I had an exciting day...Oh, my-- Grandpa Bob wonders...what did you do? Take a Quick flight to Europe?? See a Broadway show?? Go and visit the Empire State building? He asks...Alas Pyewacket's reply "Oh no, no, no...I had a far more exciting day today...let me see...first I did the grocery shopping then came home and did the laundry, washed the floors, cleaned the bathroom and kitchen..." Hehehe...I think a lot of us here on mylot catch up on all our lovely mundane boring tasks that comes with being alive...Hehehe--but now I'm here!! A nice break from all those exciting events that took place today in my life

Hi Grandpa Bob! It is past midnight where I live and today is really boring at mylot. I can not really identify with the discussions tonight. I suppose the mylotters are out on the town or having family activities. So I have been looking through all the sections and have not made much money. I have read your discussions often and I am glad you could be back to mylot.

It always seeemed to me that Saturdays were one of the busiest days here at mylot. But, I've found the same thing today, not many new posts. I suppose people are on vacations and doing family things today since the weather isn't too bad today.

I find the weekends slower with discussions from friends. I suspect that, like me, we have partners at home, & kids home from school, all who want the computer. Then too, many of us use the weekends for social reasons. I never get enough time to do MY LOt, hence I started vey few discussions lately.

Well Grandpa Bob- It's now Sunday- and I'm in the process of cooking dinner - thought I'd pop on and see what is happening- Not alot of new discussions from my friends right now either- I wonder if the weekends are just slow- I know I have a hard time sitting down to the computer when it's so nice out- I've been running all weekend long- softball games- birthday parties- hanging outside- Today I decided to rest- Got some cleaning done- and popped on- So yep I bet it's going to get deader as the weather continues to stay nice!

Hi grandpa. You know very well that I'm not active here at mylot anymore. But I know what you are feeling. Right now, I'm trying to catch up all my friend's discussions but I can't feel any excitement. It looks too empty. I can only respond to about 20 each day. I do hope mylot will go back like it used to be. Where everyone are always in tuned with each other.

Hi Grandpa Bob, It's around 9:30 here now, and this is the first time I've actually been on today. I did check my inbox earlier, and I have some things I can do, but there's not as many today. I've had an exciting day (not), as I went out to do some errands, and got stalled at the bank. Found out I needed an appointment, so that was a wasted trip ... too long a story. I think I 'must' have allergies too, as I'm all stuffed up, and can't seem to stop sneezing. I was walking by some lovely lawns and gardens earlier. No wonder I'm NOT a gardener (haha). I'll try to think up one or two discussions, but can't promise too much, due to the stuffiness. Take care.:)

Saturday night I had just gotten home from vacation at my sisters. I went to Seattle to meet up with my older sister then we got in her SUV and she drove 12 hours to Shoshone Idaho. It was her, her son, her bunny and myself. We made good time for all the stops we had to make. My sister is very patient with her son who did really well in the car. He has his game boy and he would play it for a while then she would make him turn it off. He then would have to check on the bunny. Macky bunny came with he is a neutered, lop eared bunny who is litter box trained. It would have cost my sister 8 dollars a day to board her bunny. So we took him on the road. I was tired so I did not get on the computer Saturday night nor all day sunday.

I notice that too! I tend to get bored on weekends here because not much is going on and I can't find much to respond to!! I figure everyone is busy but me, and I guess you. LOL!!!!
