I've been hooked on shower and bath gels for the last 10 + years. I love the many different fragrances that it is available in and will switch to a different fragrance just about every day. I love the fact that I can choose something different to match my mood every day. Do you prefer a liquid gel or regular bar soap?

I prefer just regular bar of soap. I like Zest the best. Hey that should be a slogan for them. LOL
I don't really like gels other than shaving cream gels.

When they came out with the shower gels I found that they rinsed off so much cleaner in our hard water that I have stuck with them from the first try out. I tended to break out from bar soaps, and they felt like they either left a residue or dried my skin too much. I like the fact that with shower gels your skin issues can more easily be addressed. And yes, the fragrances are heavenly and intense.

I go for the liquid soap because it can be spread easily into our body so it makes it clean thoroughly. The bar soap can be a substitute because I think it's cheaper. It also lasts longer than liquid soap.

I go for a regular bar of soap. I tried to get into the lufa and shower gel scene, but it never really worked out for me. I like to use Ivory or Dove. I keep it simple when it comes to cleaning my face. Soap and water is perfect for me.

I prefer bar soap personally. For some reason liquid soap just seems to leave a film on me. My husband however loves the liquid soap from Old Spice. I have to admit it does smell so good on him!

I prefer bar soap to liguid gels. I don't like the feeling being so smooth as if it could not be washed away however much water is used. Bar soap has been my first choice as always.

I prefer bar soap as of this time since it's not expensive and it will take a long time to consume it.All the members of the family can enjoy using it. If I become very rich, then I'll shift to liquid gel soap because it's more expensive and there are a lot of smell to choose from.LOL

I much prefer a liquid gel, I have quite a collection of them, I hate using the same one over and over again, I also take them to the gym as well after my workout I take a shower. I like the fruity ones like the lemon, lime and strawberry ones.

I prefer the shower gels myself. Right now I am on a 'Fresh Berry Smoothie' phase. I gotta have 'matching' shampoo and conditioner, lol. It's nice to have a subtle scent when I'm at work, where most perfumes would be overpowering.
But I always make sure to get moisturizing gels since my skin can get really dry, especially in the winter time.
Plus, my husband uses bar soap, and I HATE seeing all the half-used bars he leaves in the shower! When I did use bar soap, I'd always use it untill it was only a sliver and broke apart in my washcloth! Him, half a bar and it's on to the next. To each his own, I guess!

For me it is definitely liquid soap.
In fact, the last time I used bar shop for shower would be more than a decade back. :P

I prefer liquid. I buy concentrated liquid base and then add my own additives and scents. Depending on what I add it can be shampoo, dish soap, hand soap or shower gel. They all use basically the same base anyway.
I love making them to my own specifications, saves me a ton of money too. A gallon of base runs about $20.00 and I can make enough of everything to last a year out of that gallon. Most of the additives aren't very expensive either.
My hubby likes bar soap for his showers so I buy melt and pour and again I can put anything in it he wants and make the bars as big as he likes. He was always complaining that soap bars are made for kids hands. He likes MANLY sized bars... LOL
