although both are bad, but hurt emotionally is much more difficult to bear then hurt physically. It takes much time in recovering from emotional case. Don't you think soo?

It depends upon how they heart you physically and emotionally. Example they degraded you. Or this people broke your nose.

any abuse is bad but emotional is harder to get over. if you are physically hurt, the wounds do heal but if it is physical abuse, it does affect a person emotionally too. i wouldnt even contemplate saying which would be easier to deal with because i know what both are like... if its a one off fight though with say a stranger or something, physical is definately easier to deal with but if its physical abuse...then it turns emotional anyway...

Both are connected. If you are physically hurt, you can't forget it.

although both are bad but i think physical hurt is better than emotional hurt as it heals much faster and leaves behind less scars.

You are right. Physical pain heals faster than emotional. I've always been in emotional hurt before and it really hurt so bad.

Getting hurt emotionally is way worse then physically. Look at it this way...Physically only hurts a couple hours maybe a few days...Emotionally, sticks with you forever. I had it both ways and both are bad. I don't wish it on anyone. But if I had to endure it again, I would take physical over emotional any day. For any victims out there, please check out this website www.ndvh.org/, you'll get through..just get help! Best wishes.

both are bad and i dont want that to happen to anyone, but i think being hurt emotionally is worst than being hurt physically, coz when you are emotionally hurt it will sometimes take a long time to heal.. that's just my opinion.

I think hurting emotionally is worse than physical hurt. Personally, I am able to handle physical pain...but emotionally it becomes very difficult to get over and takes a longer time than physical pain.

physical injuries only hurt for the time it happens and the time you're healing. emotional ones can last your entire lifetime, so i guess it depends on the severity... i would have to say, a physical injury that will cause you pain for the rest of your life has got to be the worst kind you can get. normally though, condense a year of emotional pain into a week of physical healing, it probably balances out.

Both are equally painful. I have been a victim of emotional abuse all my life. First by my father and then by an exboyfriend. I finally realized one day that I deserve better. Words can be just as painful as a fist. I am happy to report that I have a wonderful man in my life who only used kind words toward me.

So sad. I am glad you are completely recovered now with your new life. Your pain and hurt no doubt has make you a better person that makes your man find you.

No doubt both is pretty bad, I mean I think pain is pretty bad in general. If I had to pick, though, I'd probably go with emotional, because there's no anesthesia for that kind of pain. Codine won't get you anywhere from a heartache.

I feel that getting emotionally hurt is more painful than physically because physical injuries will heal sooner or later but those injured emotionally will take very, very long time to heal or do not heal at all.

Getting Hurt Emotionally in Not Bad but Worst and leaves permanent patches on sensitive people, however getting hurt physically only needs a good doctor and time to heal.
