Rain Rain Some have it some dont!

Well it is hot and humid here and we are under a severe thunderstorm watch which will be upgraded to warnings within the next 2 hours! I see in texas they have had way too mauch rain and then parts to the east there like bama fla ga and the carolinas no rain hope they get some soon for I also know that No Fireworks unless it does! Well hope all is well with you later peace

I'm in the panhandle of Texas and we could use some of that rain to come back again. I don't want the storms, but some cooling rain and soaking to the grass would be nice.

Yes I see on the weather that you are dry ya might have to grab some buckets and go to the north of ya and get water lol It will soon come I tell ya it is so hot and humid right now here I will be glad for it to storm and cooloff!

oh and enjoy the air condition We have fans and I have both in the living room got a wind tunnell going it feels good! Next week when this cat is gone I can open up and let the air really flow thru!

We are having some rain here right now in TN. It's been raining all day and it does look like a storm heading this way. But we do needed the rain here.

It is hot and humid here in Indiana also and we have not had much rain for over a month. We have had some light showers overnight though and that helps a little bit. Someone was letting off fireworks last night before the rain came and we were afraid it was going to start a fire.

We don't get enough rain ever. Water is a BIG deal where I live now. We average 17 inches per YEAR. That's well under half of the rain I got where we used to live. Needless to say, I have a timer on my soakers in the veggie garden. I could care less about having a lawn, but I do want my veggies to grow!

We had a lot of rain earlier and still off and on. It has been great for us. We have had some flooding but that seems to be settling down. I know the lakes that were really dried up last year are really full this year which is great. I hope your storms aren't too bad.

Sunny and hot in Central California. We did not even get 50% of our average rain this last winter I think Washington state got it all. It sees there is either a draught or floods somewhere I wish we could get a happy medium. LOL

I agree. Florida definitly needs more rain. We have a water shortage here from the heat being so hot.

With Texas being such a large state when you see on the news about the flooding here that don't mean that all of Texas got it. Not too far from where I live a town got 10 inches and we got just enough rain that the sidewalk was damp when I got up or I wouldn't have even known it rained. We can use more rain where I live but I don't want it in the evening while my grandson is here since he takes swimming lessons from 5:20 to 5:50pm.
