what do you think is the best computer brand out there? Dell? HP? Toshiba? Opinions are welcome

DELL sucks bigtime! i suggest got get the best parts from different manufacturer then put them all together, make sure you check the compatibilities

best computer brand is yourself... before any purchase you should get some informations... some brands are good at making motherboards, other are good at making CD ROM or DVD... you should make your own configuration;)

for me, i prefer to customise it myself. so i can add on the spec whatever i want. since i can repair the problem of my computer by myself. whatever part is spoil , just replace it . is good if you purchase the whole package from a branded vendor because of the term of service.
