Flat screen or regular monitor....

Whicg one do you use for your computer? I use a regular 21incg monitor with my CPU. Then adain my computer is about 7 years old..lol..I believe the flat srean is better in some ways because it has a sleek design and takes up very litte space. I would love to get a flat screen but at this point in my life, I just can't afford one. Which do you have? Do you prefer one over the other?

Hi Liyan!!
I have 15"inch CRT Monitor which is 6 yrs of old...But in my office i have 17"inch Flat monitor..
I love to work in a flat monitor because of its style and design..Its too good..I am planning to buy a 17" inch flat one for my home soon..

I prefer flat screen more than regular monitor because they are easy and confortable for me.Currently I am using Samtron lat screen LCD moniter.Yes that's truth that lat screen takes up less spoce but also in taking less space gives more functions than regular.

I used to have a regular desktop monitor that I used. I bought a new flat panel monitor for my computer around Christmas time. I prefer the flat screen monitor becuase it is nicer and it takes up alot less room on my desk. I would love to have a laptop computer some day but we cannot get wireless internet service in my area.

i have a laptop so its obviouslt flat screen. I like flat screens for computers but i actually like regular TV screens better!

Hi.
Currently I have a 17 inch regular monitor for my computer and I too want to switch to a liquid crystal dispay unit as quickly as possible, let's hope we both have enough money for it soon.

I use a LCD Monitor for my Desktop Computer at my home and a CRT Monitor at my office. I prefer LCD monitor than CRT for that you get less strain on your eyes with LCD Monitors than the CRT Monitors. But it is always true that CRT Monitor Displays are much Better displays than the LCD currently. I hope LCD Monitors will soon become as clear the CRT monitors also. Also LCD Monitors use very less space on my desktop, whereas the CRT Monitors takes up a lot of space. Maintenance of the LCD Monitors is very easy than the CRT Monitors. Recently even the cost of LCD Monitors has been coming down, so I believe you can also afford for a LCD Monitor very soon.

I have a 15 inch crt monitor which i bought 2 years ago. I think flat screen monitors are better in all respects. They are beautiful, sleek, light weight, and easy to carry. I have to carry my pc to hostel and back home twice a year. At that time i feel the need of a flat screen monitor. Heard that flat screens are also radiation free.

I used to have a big huge bulky monitor, but an ex gave me his flatscreen...and I love it...it takes up so much less space...and my desk doesn't seem so cluttered now...you can find a good monitor for under $200 now...there are plenty of cheaper..good models to chose from. Save up your money...it's worth it!!
