my husband Shane is the most amazing man... we have had some really rough times over the years, things have happened to us that could of destroyed our relationship. instead of destroying it it's brought us closer together.. after 10 years of being together it only seems like yesterday that we started going out... i still get a buzz when we hug, when we kiss... i believe we have the stuff that's made to last.. im glad Shane and i found each other (which is amazing because we are from 2 different countries) he is my perfect man... and he makes me happier than anyone ever has... are you as lucky in luv as i am? let me know wot u think!!

I have a wonderful husband. We will be married for seven years coming up June 24th. I love him so much. We met each other in college and started off as friends. Wonderful way to start a marriage.

I think you are a very lucky lady, I think everyone would love that, it is what everyone is looking for but unfortunately these days it doesn't work this way very often, it seems you appreciate what you have and that is wonderful, I do know a fe girls who have a wonderful life with a wonderful husband but they take it all for granted... I hope things stay wonderful for you.. you are very lucky.

Well I am very happy for you. My man and I are not married - been together over 20 years now, and just never felt the need for the "piece of paper", - but other than that I would say we are very similar to you and Shane:-)) We are from two different countries too! Hope you will always be happy!

you are lucky. im not sure i can say the same. been with my boyfriend 6 yrs he is 11 yrs older than me.we have been threw alot such as dealing with my mom over my 4 yr old daughter in court to him cheating.we dont even sleep in the same room any more half the time. i want to get married and have another child he dont want neither of those. sometimes i feel we are only together cause of our daughter.we dont kiss, hold hands, or hug,and if we are the same room it is for only about 5- 10 mins. then he leaves and goes get on computer which it seems he is on there 24/7. sorry dont mean to bring you down . wish i was luck like you. i love this man but dont know if he loves me.

Nowadays I am, yes. After 7 years of marriage. But things were not so good with the other two experiences I had. It was very difficult to handle those situations for me that believed that I could built a good and strong relationship. But perhaps those situations gave me a lot of experience that allows me today to enjoy this relationship.

Friday will be our 5th anniversary and it has been tough. Started off with preacher not showing up, we were planning a small gazebo wedding at Sullivan's Island. Wife was able to schedule a company called mobile marriages to do the service. It was raining so hard the whole weekend, so we received permission from seafood restaurant that was handling the reception to be married there. It is one of our favorite restaurants. Less than a week later my brother was murdered. I did not get a job that I had requested because of my sleep disorder. I had to have surgery to take Basil cell cancer off my nose and open up the nares. My wife became very week and thought it was just adjusting to not working 12 hour shifts. When we were going to her families thanksgiving, she wanted to stop at the ER where she had worked hoping to get some fluids. Her red blood counts were the lowest of anyone living at that hospital. She was put in a non air flow room and then transferred to ICU. Thanksgiving day she was transferred by ambulance to Vanderbilt Hospital and placed in another negative air flow room and could not eat any raw veggies. Diagnosed with Hairy Cell Leukemia which is chronic and rare, but treatable to remission. She received about 15 units of blood and chemotherapy. She loves salads but could not eat them for several months because her immune system was so low. Next I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer and thyroid was removed and radio active iodine treatment. Next was a stroke for me causing a job move for me within the government. Later had gallbladder removed it was size of small melon.
