People get very attached to their sneakers. They often get attached to a particular BRAND of sneakers. Somethings the attachment is due to fashion and other times it is due to fit or performance. What about you? Tell me about your sneakers! Do you prefer a particular brand? If so why? What is it that you love most about your favorite sneakers?

Hm my favorite shoes right now are Crocs, but they aren't sneakers. I like the crocs because they are easy to get on and off, and comfy! My favorite sneakers are a pair of Nikes. They are made to wear barefoot instead of with socks, and are super lightweight! I wear them for running, but just like to wear them around too. They are soft, and bendy and super great. haha. They dont make my feet hot or anything! It isn't because they are nike though, I like many brands! These just happen to be my favorite for now!

well to be honest, i dont like sneakers. i have a cheap brand that sit in my laundry and i only wear them for the odd jobs like if its raining and i need to go outside to do something and my feet may get dirty or wet then i put them on but i could go 6 months or so without wearing sneakers. i have colordo black shoes for work and they are comfy, but im more of a thongs person lol even in winter then its thongs and socks lol

My favorites are a pair of VANS not even purchased for me. They are actually skate shoes that I bought on sale (a size too big) for my son to grow into. Well he surpassed that shoe size but low and behold I was now cool and owned a really great pair of shoes. I absolutely love them.

I have a pair of black Nikes with a gold "whoosh", gold honeycomb patterned thread in the front and gold sole. These are my favourites because of the unique design and colour. The shape is modelled on 1970's basketball shoes. It was a limited edition design.

I only wear Ryka. If I wear other brands I get foot and leg cramps and need to wear orthodics. With the Ryka, I can just slip my feet in and I am good to go. Plus, I can get them for about $40 a pair which is quite reasonable.

Well, to start, I probably still have every pair of sneakers I bought since my freshman year of HIGH SCHOOL. Some may think that is sad, but the old ones just fit so well! Ha. Anyway, my best for performance are definitely my cross trainer New Balances, but as for a brand of sneakers, I probably have a different pair of Nike's to cover my whole wardrobe... for some reason I thought they were the "ones to have" in high school.

I like a brand called 'Champion.' They're inexpensive, comfy and look like the tennis shoes/sneakers that I grew up with. I don't care for most of the athletic shoes they have now a days...don't want racing stripes on them, heels that glow in the dark, or any of the other funky things they do to shoes anymore. Just give me a regular pair of sneakers and I'll be more than happy, lol. The only kind of new type sneakers I have is cross trainers, and those are for hiking and stuff like that. Mostly though, I like my regular looking ones.

I buy a particular style of Reebok, that looks very nice, even with casual dresses.A lot of my work involves walking on concrete floors, or standing. I usually get a black pair and a white pair right before school starts. I like this shoe because it is light weight, ties up, and my expensive inserts fit in them without me feeling like my foot is up too far. They are leather, and can be cleaned with leather cleaner and polished with shoe polish. Tying, rather than velcroing is important to me because it gives me better support all the way around. I get mine at Famous Footwear stores in the malls, and they usually run about $29. I wish my feet and knees would still allow me to wear funky shoes.

I've been wearing the same tennis shoe for many, many years. It's one I like and it has velcro instead of ties. It makes it easier for me to handle with my arthritis. Anyway, one time my husband went to buy me another pair to replace them and couldn't find the ones I wanted. He brought home another brand. This shoe was so totally different it put my center of gravity in another area and caused me to stand different. I wore them 2 days and ended up with leg muscle cramps that lasted for almost 2 months. I was in agony. I never knew that could happen. So, back to my favorites.

Crazynurse I am sure you are well aware that nursing really takes a toll on your feet and legs. A good pair of work shoes and sneakers means the world as far as comfort. I have long ago had to succumb to sensible shoes even in dressing for an occasion. My preference in a brand of sneakers is by far Easy Spirit. They make a wonderful walking shoe that is light on your feet yet supportive of the arch of your foot and your back. They have become more stylish over the years and are as pretty as anything else I see. I really hate to have to be so clinical is something that should be a trivial matter now that I am not working, but all those years on my feet have really spoiled me to a good basic sneaker that works for your body.

I've recently discovered a new love for shoes! Heels in particular... but I still can't live without my sneakers! I've worn Vans since as long as I can remember - they're so comfy and cozy and last for so long! I got 2 pairs for my birthday recently (and as my feet are so teeny tiny, I got 2 pairs for £21!) one pair is black with a pink 'V' on the side, and the other are white canvas with swirly black pattern on them... I wear them everywhere!

I've always been a Nike girl just because it fits my feet really well. I have tried Adidas and something else before but they just don't mold well to my feet. For work nothing can beat Crocs Rx and that's my latest obsession. They actually work better than the Nike Shox I had before I discovered Crocs.

Pretty much by chance I have ended up being a "New Balance" girl for my last several pairs of athletic shoes. I would just go to the store and try on different pairs and then end up buying the New Balance. Then I found out that when my father was very active in different sports, he always chose New Balance too. I found that interesting, and perhaps it means that there's something about those shoes for the particular kind of feet I have? I don't know, but I find them very comfortable and generally attractive. I am not crazy about wild colors and designs on athletic shoes. I want something that's pretty much all white (my current shoes are mostly white with a little navy) and not too wild looking. But the most important thing of all is comfort, and for me in recent years this has meant New Balance shoes.

Sneakers - Here is a picture of me standing in my brand new Ecco sneakers. They are extremely comfortable and provide much more support for my feet. Better than other brand name shoes.
I just bought a new pair of shoes and the brand name is Ecco. I got them from Walking Company and they cost $100. They feel really great and much more comfortable than the average sneaker. They are made to provide comfort to all parts of your feet to prevent foot problems.

I am not into sneakers much as most people are. I love to wear them but no attachment to them at all. I think that is just a little bit silly.
