Do you get embarrassed easily? I guess I do!

I am SO embarrassed! - Thank you for all the best responses!

I was just looking on my profile and noticed that I have 2 pages of best responses! Shocked is not the right word for the way I felt when I saw that. I seldom check those things. I just sit here and think and write and don't check anything out. So now I am very embarrassed that I have not said Thank You to the members who have chosen my response as their best. I really and truly am sorry. You have to understand that I don't check ratings and things like that which is how I missed it completely. Does anyone else get embarrassed easily? Does it take a lot to make you red in the face and your words falter? What does it take for you?

when i get embarrassed, i'll be the first one who laugh at myself to be in that funny situation. The people who saw the incident may just be the second to laugh after me. Then sometimes they laugh to my reaction of the incident instead to feel ashamed they saw it as if i make it a funny things on my life.

Isn't it funny how when we do something embarrassing we can get everyone laughing by laughing ourselves? It always seems to work.

I think these things are more important to some people than they are to others. I'm not going to worry about it any more.

Well ..you can take it that way too...!! But I take it as a careless attitude..!! One who do not care about others ..because of that no "other" person can make me feel embarraseed..!!

If its my fault, yes i get embarrased easily to myself. But when its others fault, i tend to look to the brighter side and understand the situation. Were just humans anyway. Our world is already full of hate and embarrassment.i dont want to contribute to it anymore.

This of course was my fault which is why I'm so embarrassed. I see so many people thanking others for picking theirs as best response and I haven't even said one Thank you!

Thank you for reminding me. I checked my best responses and had about 8 that I had not thanked. I had to apologize over and over again. However, I didn't get embarrassed just have been so busy.

I'm finding that I'm not alone in this. Maybe we need to set one day aside to just check out our best responses. Sometimes I get too busy to even log on.

I haven't actually took the time to say thank you to all the members either that chose me for a best response. If they reply to me and I do see it, I will thank them for it. Other than that, I rarely go and check my best responses and see who chose me for it. I think i need to do that also soon. Some members tell me and I thank them that way also.

Also, I don't get embarrassed too easily, but it all depends on the situation that I am in also as to how much I get embarrassed or if I do. There are some things that easily embarrass me also. sorry I left this out of my first response.

A lot of people don't realize that we can see our best responses on our profile page. I for one have recently learned that.

I don't get embarrassed easily. This could stem from the fact that I come from a family of ten and anything went with my brothers and sisters. They were not very easy on some of the things that they said and I learned early in life to get a thick skin.

I can see your point. I can't imagine living with a family of ten. I'm sure nothing would embarrass you after that.

Hi, ctrymuziklvr, Just now I myself felt embarrassed because I just posted to discussion where I wrote "WHOM DO YOU CALL FIRST, IN CASE OF AN ACCIDENT" I wrote "WHO WILL YOU CALL FIRST IN CASE OF AN ACCIDENT". Without reading my headline I just hit the preview button. I really feel embarrassed.

There are so many details to mylot that I think most people miss at least one part of it. I wouldn't worry too much about it. I've been a little slow in choosing best responses. I did a few a couple of days ago, but I have a lot more to do. I focus more on posting discussions or replying to them. Then I worry about the other stuff. To answer your question if I am easily embarassed. I would have to say sometimes. When I do something sill and get caught, I become embarassed. If someone teases me about something, sometimes I become embarassed. Sometimes I can just blow it off and not worry about what people are thinking. I'm not sure why sometimes I am one way and sometimes I am another. I can be in the same situation on two different days and one day it will embarrass me and the next day it wont.

Of course we're embarrassed when we get caught doing something, especially if it's something we shouldn't be doing right?

Yes all the time. Sometimes I get red in the face without even knowing it whenever someone is telling me something or whenever i am in the middle of saying something. Its weird but I can't really control it.

Unfortunately it's impossible to control turning red in the face even when we can feel it happening.

oh, i am like you. i get embarrassed very easily. i cannot recat properly when being praised, i feel like shying away. i grope for proper repartite, whicvh, i never manage in time. it even shows on my face and gesture. i am really unsmart in this regard, need to wok on it for i feel praises should be faced in the right attitude, if not its desirable to bask in its glory. smiles... PS: congrats on your best responses. you deserve it.

Yes, I understand what you mean. Usually if it's work related I can handle compliments fairly well but if it's something personal I tend to turn red and stutter.

Oh don't worry about it, I never check mine so needless to say I haven't thanked any one. I just get so into posting replies, I forget about the other stuff. I am sure we are not the only ones. :0D Come to think of it, no one has ever thanked me for giving them Best Response, so I know we aren't the only ones, LOL. It takes a lot for me to get red faced. Something like gas in public or something really extreme I reckon.

I am not as easily embarrassed as I used to be... I think maturity has a lot to do with it, After 40 you say to your self Who cares :)) and you say and do the things you want to do with out a thought. Some of my best responses when I go back and reread them I sometimes say WOW what was I thinking when I wrote that! LMAO But I always say Thank you, its common curtsy, and you know what it gives the person who awarded you the best response something to be even more proud of for the response and lets them know you appreciate the recognition.

Well, as old as I am I still get embarrassed at certain times. I would hope that members here realize that we are all thankful to them that ours is chosen as best response.

Hey you just dont have to worry about those things well you shouldnt feel so embarrased that you have not check it! It does happen and i am pretty much sure that those people who have rated your response as the best one doesnt expect you to say thank you! You simply deserve them dear... well i do feel embarassed sometimes but i dont think i will feel if ever i have not responded to someone who has rated me as best response!

I've seen so many discussions on whether we should say thank you or not that I think I got paranoid. Some members expect it and some don't even think about it. I for one don't think about it. I don't need to be thanked because I chose the response for a reason....they deserved it.
