LOL, have you ever seen that commercial where the cats are gathered around the circuit breaker box, getting ready to flip the switch. I can't remember what the commercial was for but it was funny. I could picture mine doing that to me.lol.

What kind of bird is Timmy? used to have a Grey-Cheeked Parakeet...not long ago, I heard this beautiful bird in the neighborhood, and sure enough it landed on my windowsill..it was a lovebird!! So the poor thing no doubt had gotten loose...I was trying to get it, but alas flew away--sure miss having a bird

Well to be honest - not that good at the moment:-(( She was home for 10 days, and seemed happy enough, but then I noticed she had bruising on her skin graft, so took her back to the Vet, and they kept her in for a week for "observaton" in case it was breaking down. She came home again yesterday, but now I have to keep her in a pen confined to one room, to avoid too much moveent or exercise, and she has to wear a collar with a cover over her face (made from an old pair of ladies' tights) as well, as they've discovered the bruising was primarily caused by herself, as she bashed her own leg with her other collar in an effort to shake it off:-(( Not surprisingly, she hates being "trapped" like that - the only way we can let her out of the pen is for feeding, giving medication, and applying cream to her leg, - so she has become quite distressed, and cries a lot:-(( It s a big worry, though the Vets tell me the graft is slowly getting strong enough to stop all this - it's just a very long process. Thanks for asking.

I used to have 24 at one point, and my mother in law (she's our landlady) got a big kick out of it. But my neighbor didn't like it too much and trapped a bunch of my babies and dropped them off somewhere. The kicker is that animal control let him get away with it!

Ho-ho...12?---Up until last year don't ask how many I had...which was why we got into trouble with our landlord...

Oh.gee..what a "nice" neighbor...were they personally bothering her? Were they considered a "nuisance" --and when my mom and I were being threatened with eviction last year we had double that amount...my mom did create the problem..as she did have hoarder personality...our eviction issue was round 2..we had been threatened in 2001 with eviction..uh, don't ask how many we had then..way too many...

A lot of people are familiar with the name Pyewacket from the old movie Bell, Book & Candle that had Jimmy Stewart, Kim Novak, Jack Lemmon and Elsa Lanchester in it...all about witches (Novak, Lemmon and Lanchester) and Novak's character had a cat named Pyewacket...but the name actually goes back to medieval England times and was always associated with a witch who would would have a cat, usually a black one---and to me, my own Pyewacket is a bit of a magical cat..LOL...ever since I've had him, I swear I've had a lot of luck with him!! So...maybe he IS magical??

Let me guess...was the contest for picture.com for The International Library of Photography...hate to say it but that place is a rip-off...let me see..is the picture to be included in a book called "Endless Journeys"?? This is a real scam thing...thousands of people will enter the contest and it seems everyone gets a letter of congrats that their picture will be published in a book...then they ask you to send THEM money, about 60 bucks to receive a copy of the book...most people never get the book either--sure hope you didn't shell out the money for the book Oh--and love that avatar picture

I did have a lot of fun writing those pages...It's seems I've always had black cats...even my very first when I was only five years old was black--with just a bit of white
