what is the best advice or words that you have ever received?

have you ever received an advice or words that really2 get into your heart?i did.mine are: 1. i have my grandpa said this "a good demon makes a better friend than a bad angel". i see a lot of truth in that statement.. 2. dad says "don't sweat the small stuff-IT'S ALL SMALL STUFF" sometimes it works not so much! lol

My Grandmother was full of good advice. She told me to tear up all my credit cards and only rely on available cash to buy things. It took a bad lesson for me to take her advice, but she was very right.

My grandpa had heaps of these sayings and they all still ring true for me. Dont count your chickens before they hatch, dont put all your eggs in the one basket. Whats good for the goose is good for the gander. Keep your friends close and your enemies closer. He would have a different one everyday.lol
