How do you choose to respond to discussions?

For me, my first choice is to respond to new discussions my friends started. I need to saty in touch with my friends. Sometimes I click their old discussions and choose one topic that matches my taste. Also as I know the feeling of my discussions being ignored by my friends, quite often I choose to click Discussions with no reponses and New user discussions. I do this to make them feel that still I am there to be with them to make them feel welcome instead of being ignored. What about you, my friends?

Personally, I respond to whatever looks interesting. A topic that appears to be intelligently typed usually catches my attention before other topics as well. (Offtopic: Tonberry. SQUEE!) Anyways, I love responding to topics, but I'll only respond to the ones that catch my interest.

It is an adventure when you are searching for discussons agreeing with your interest and attracting your attention. To me, it is the same. Thank you, friend, for your discussion.

You care more about discussions started by your friends. Me, too. And I also respond to those who reply to my discussion(s) in return. I make it a rule to be fair to my friends as always. Thanks, cabergren.

I usually respond to a discussion which interests me so much and that I could feel the subject being talked about and my mind will just go flow with it by giving my insightful comment.

Cool. I quite agree with you on that point. When we are choosing a discussion to respond to, we will take our interest into consideration, which is of great importance in making a good and quality response, giving our insight comment. Thanks for your participation, my friend.

I wonder if people have responded to my own posts, I hope they arent pissed if I havn't answered any questions. Keeping a tab on the discussions I have responded to would take up too much time. I pick a person from my friends list and check out their discussions. Then I choose one from my interests.

To me, I won't be pissed. I still appreciate their/your participation in my discussion. I do the same to check out their discussions and choose the one that interests me. Thanks, my friend, for your response.

Mostly, i take the Tab, " discussions my friends started" and respond to them..where most of my friends will be very active and i would have less time to respond those discussions itself..and now.. for the past one week.. i have been going on all topics on which ever subject that i could lay my hands on.. and respond to all.. because i dont have enough discussions started by my friends this month..

I respond to those topic which always caught my attention and that must be connected with my interests. I also respond to topics which I think I can answer correctly and with sense that the viewers can connect with. And might also be based from my experience.

I agree with you on that point. It should go with your interest first before you choose one to respond to. I do the same though. I also like to answer one based on my own experience to make it sense. We have something in common in answering a question raised. Thanks, my friend.

Hi william. The first thing I do is to check out the discussions made by my friends. When I'm done with that, then I proceed with the top and hot discussions. But as I have observed, discussions that are listed in the daily top lists are also listed in the hot discussions. So, sometimes I don't even bother checking them out one by one. What I am doing lately is to check each friend's profile and the discussions that they have posted. I'm also in the habit of digging up their old discussions dating back several months ago. And frankly, I have found several almost a year old very interesting discussions.

Well, as soon as I log in, I have the home page in front of me. There I get to see all the top discussions and discussions from my interests. So I just read the title and decide if I should have a peek at the discussion. If i feel that I can add something to it, I respond. Or else enjoy reading and get along with another discussion. That way i have a touch on all the latest of discussions and all. bourne

I am also trying to respond to discussions that are interesting to me. And I also find that it is easier if the discussion is something that is related to my experience.

Usually i go for my friend's discussons first, then i move to discussions with the no responses, this gives me the privilege to b the first to give my view on a discusion without any prior influence, then finall I check areas of my interests

Hello dear adjesh. You are a very nice friend I have. I thank you so much for the response. Yeah, right now as I have got so many friends here, I almost always respond to my friends' discussions as the first choice because I read them from my email notifications and I have whole bunch of them waiting for me to respond to. Of course I still keep my habit of what is narrated in the discussion. Take care and enjoy yourself, my dear ajesh.

Me too. I will try to look for discussions being created by my friends. This is to keep in touch with friends in mylot. Besides, it's also to encourage them to continue their interest in Mylot, by knowing that their friends are still here. It's also for mutual benefit because by responding to friend's discussion, they will reply to ours as well. Other than replying friend's discussion, I like to respond to discussion which I could express my view and I am knowledgable or having bunch of experience in. Because by replying discussion which we are familiar with, the writting will be very easy and we could express what we want fluently.

Hello cheongyc. It is absolutely true that the writing will be easy and we could express what we want fluently. It is the same with me. When I choose a discussion that I can be related to, I can make a fast response without thinking too much where to start with, but to some less or un-related ones, it is very hard for me to begin with the response and finally I would give it up. hehehe. Thanks so much for this response of yours. I am so sorry for my belated response to yours till today.

I go to three types of discussions and respond. New users, Discussions of friends and No response. You are correct in saying that no response category should be attended to. My three discussions are not responded to even after many months. I really feel for that. But what to do? It is part of the game. You seem to be a considerate person. Keep it up my friend and God Bless you and your family.

Well, I usually check the front page to see what my friends are talking about and I post to any that I really feel like I have a good amount to say. Then I look at my recently updated interests for a bit, and then I repeat the process pretty much. I don't post my own that often, at least not so far, but the few I have done I made sure to comment on responses there.

Hello dear vikimishra. Yeah, we love to choose to respond to discussions that we like or that we can be related to so that we would have contents in the response, which is true indeed. It is the same to me in this case. Thanks for your response, dear friend.
