Last week it didn't bother me, but this week.......

There are some things my hubby can say one week & though aggrevating I can usually laugh, but if he catches me at a bad time, the very same answer has me ready to snap his head off. Today has been one of those days. ~:O My hubby had gotten rather lazy since our daughter has moved out and I only have to keep house for the two of us. In the last few years he has developed a tendency of leaving his clothes on the bathroom floor after his shower even though the clothes basket is only a few feet away. While it's no big deal for me to pick them up, if I ask him why he does that or something else just as annoying, he'll laugh and say "To give you something to do." Like I don't have enough to get done everyday without him adding to the chores list. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one that gets this way at times, but I was wondering what sets your teeth on edge when you're having a bad day.

My ex-husband used to do that so I let his clothes pile up on the bathroom floor for a week until he got the idea he had to put his dirty clothes in the hamper.

I don't think I could manage leaving them there for a week. That would drive me nuts. Unfortunately, he lost most of his jeans in a fire recently and I'm rather limited on how long I can let the laundry pile up even if I could resist the overwhelming urge to keep things tidy. :)

I have been married 42 years and my husband still can't make me a decent cup of coffee! Normally it doesn't worry me, but if I'm having a bad day (for whatever reason), and he makes me a coffee "his way", I go off at him on a tangent! It really bugs me. You'd think after all these years that he would know how I like it, huh? Also, when he takes his socks off and throws them in the laundry basket in a ball and I have to unravel them before I put them in the machine - that gets to me too on my off days! Arrghhhh!

I'm glad some-one else hates the sock balls, lol! I like my coffee sweet but not too sweet, and medium to strong, but my hubby makes it too weak for me, and usually too sweet! Now and again he does get it right and I praise him for it (sometimes you have to treat them like children don't you?) But it doesn't work, obviously!

Yeah, sock balls get to me too, LOL. I get the same answer when I ask why he can't take them off without making a ball out of them. So how do you take your coffee and how does he do it wrong? I'm glad I'm not getting any coffee complaints from hubby. I didn't drink it when we got married 23 years ago but I've learned to enjoy it & I've even heard hubby say I make a good cup of coffee when conversations with friends turn to starbucks, lol. That's enough to make you feel good (grin).

I prefer it pretty strong too, but hubby rarely sets up the coffee pot. If I happen to forget, he uses way too much coffee and messes up the filter somehow. I don't really like it strong and crunchy, so I do my best to remember before going to bed, lol. ;)

my mother in law, just seeing her face ruins my day.my husband doesn't really do much to make me angry, the only time i get mad is when he acts like we have all the money in the world always wanting to buy stuff when we need the money for bills that pop up, and stuff it's hard to save money with him!

Being married to a budget buster can be trying at times, lol. I really like my mother in law, thank goodness, but she lives with my brother & sister in law. I know my sister in law would say the same thing when she's having a bad day. ;)

Normally, my husband calls me a couple times a week just to ask if I called him. Yesterday, the phone ran so many times that I couldn't do anything else and he calls me up to tell me how long it took him to reach me. I was not happy as that was the first thing he said and then to top it off he asked me what I was doing today. I wanted to tell him answering waste of time phone calls, but was sure that would make the evening difficult, so told him I'm the new answering machine, as its not working and could he replace it quickly.

Good come back! Hubby does that to me occasionally too. Usually he just sees me on a list of missed calls because he doesn't delete them.

If I use your hubby's words, I use to give additional work to my wife by leaving my dirty clothes in the floor of the bed room. She also complains as you do. But I won't give any reply other than a smile. Just like in your house only we two are here. Both my daughters are at their own. Thank you paidreader.

When I'm having a bad day the tiniest litlle thing can get me on my nerves... for instance, I created a HUGE argument (and I mean it, huge) with my boyfriend that started with a lamp i don't even want to buy for our house. But I got angry because of the way he talked to me, and one thing let to another, next thing I know, we're making this big scene over nothing, ha ha ha. thank god we can laugh about it 5 minutes later!
