Ok, own up, own up NOW, who took my Cadbury's wholenut chocolate bar out of the fridge? I'm like a wolf with a sore head if I don't get my daily ration of chocolate LOL! Each week I buy a big bar of chocolate which I put in the fridge to keep nice and cold, and it lasts me the week! But every time I go in there, someone has been at it, I'm pretty sure it's no MOUSE. In fact I know it's my blooming housemate! He has his own chocolate but he's such a pig that it doesn't last, and as soon as he's eaten his he'll start on mine! NO WAY! I get angry! NOT NICE! Chocolate is NOT for sharing, it's MINE, all MINE! Are you possessive about anything, chocolate or your car or even your clothes? What do you HATE most when people borrow stuff without asking?

Ross never puts anything back , ( not that he borrows my clothes ) as they are too big lol , but I buy him things and put them in the fridge with mine , he eats his then starts on mine , When I go shopping now I hold up whatever it is and point to it and say ROSS THIS IS MINE PAL but he still forgets lol , Hubby is like you a bar of chocolate will sit in the fridge for ages , then I ask nicely if I can have a wee bit and he always says course you can sweetheart , he is a true gent lol , he can keep things for days , me ? I am a greedy git and eat mine all at once , that is why I am so cuddly lol xx

First off, I gotta say. Chocolate IS TOO for sharing! Why else would they make all those little squares on the chocolate bars? Why would they put all those m&m's in the package. Why would there be TWO twix bars in the package? At least TWO reeces peanut butter cups in the package?? We have this problem in my house too. We are all chocoholics. My kids are always trying to get the last cookie or the last piece of cake. (the cake thing just happened today) Sometimes I'll go as far as to buy them each a seperate package of oreos so they won't fight over who got more. Of course, they just find something else to argue over. I also try to teach them not to be GREEDY and that sharing is good. I started a discussion on how do you teach kids to share AND to respect eachothers property. I guess that's the issue you are having with your roomie. He isn't respecting that it's YOU'RE chocolate. I don't think I've ever been really protective over any of my belongings. I'm pretty easy going out sharing. The only time I get angry is if a person who wouldn't share with me, then expects me to share with them, then, I get angry. I can play by just about any rules as long as they apply both ways. If you won't share your chocolate with me, then don't expect me to share mine with you. :-)~

I think he takes it for granted anything in the fridge is fair game to him! There has been words and for now I've won the battle and hopefully the war as I break a piece of chocolate to give to you, just in case I run out and have to come running to ask you!

A friend of mine told me a story about how his girls got into a huge arguement about who ate their Butterfinger candybar..Well the battle went on for weeks before they forgot all about the fight...well after a long winter my friend went out to the back to clean up after the dog...and lo and behold amungst the dogs "stuff" there was a Butterfinger candy bar..apparently the dog ate the candybar without chewing it...he took the shovel scooped it up brought it to the house and asked his daughter if she wanted her candybar back...needless to say she declined...lol.

Food wise no I am not possessive at all but when it comes to my Car and my Clothes then I would prefer to be asked as that is certainly personal As for Chocolate and that I used to buy it for everyone anyway so it makes no difference to me

Oh I have to agree with you, chocolate is NOT for sharing, nor is Kolaches in my house, I actually hide food from the children, that is mine, that I don't want eaten, our 18 year old son when he is hungry will eat whole dinners that I have prepared, so I have to.

I eat chocolate, but not allways. I think it has something in it that makes you very agil :P, very awake. Probably those kalories in it. It's bad to eat so many chocolate per day. But if you haven't got anyithing, it's your life but stay healthy.

It depends on the person to if i care if anything of mine has been borrowed without asking, and whats been borrowed. If its chocolate, i don't if it was taken by my son or husband, but other than that as long as it gets replaced with the same chocolate i'm not too bothered. I don't mind if people borrow certain things that don't mean too much to me. My son will take anything, but hes only 1 so that i'm not bothered about. ~joeys wife

It's a man thing isn't it.. have to have the chocolate cold from the fridge!? I always like my chocolate chilled. I am quite a possessive person in the sense that it bothers me greatly when I try hard to succeed and others try and steal my thunder. How selfish I am!. Anyway, back to the chocolate, if you like Cadbury's chocolate, you must try Cadbury chocolate from Ireland, honest, I know it's only a short hope over the sea, but it tastes so much nicer. People at work thought I was nuts when I said that, until they tried it, and agreed. It tastes different, but incredibly morish!.. hope that hasn't got your mouth watering too much!!

LOL, you better keep a tighter hold on your precious chocolate, wolfie. As far as I'm concerned, no one dared to borrow my stuff yet. There's one family member who loves to go through my closet and keep on trying my clothes. You'll see all my clothes flying everywhere. Afterwards, I was left to put back all my clothes again. "sigh"

Now i am not much possasive about chocolate but yes about my car, and ofcourse when the car is very ew. I always take care of it and so much alert about scraching or anything on the car seems like it will be like this for ever. Nothing else..

yes, i think i am the same as well... there are some things that i am willing to share with other people and there are some that i won't... but usually i am not that fussy about food... the thing that i won't share with other people is usually my personal belongings and things that got to do with hygiene reasons...

Hahahahahahaha! Brian, you are SUCH a girl! Teehee i adore that. i agree, chocolate is NOT for sharing...though i usually end up sharing mine cuz i'm too generous at times. i really don't likesharing it, though. i am reallypossessive about my iPods. i won't let anyone borrow them or take them. i am also reallypossessive about my camera. Nobody can touch it without special permission. Same with my electric guitar. NO TOUCHING UNLESSS I SAY OK!!!!!!!!

Yeah I'm not big on sharing. Growing up as an only child, I never really had to put up with sharing, so I'm not sure what it's like to have to share with someone else. I like knowing that what is mine was only touched by me and it makes me feel more secure that if I took care of something that it must still be functioning perfectly (like my laptop). I feel a little strange about letting someone else borrow my car. It has only happened once, but still... what if there was like a dent/scratch and they were afraid to tell you so they don't? Things like that. I never had to share my clothes before and I just think it's weird. And yes I would mind if my roommate borrowed my clothes. Eating my food would be alright, only if they have contributed to it, such as buying me back another one. What I hate most is when people borrow things and not return it. It's called BORROWING for a reason, you know? p.s. I stole your chocolate bar. jk. :)

I hate it when people don't ask me about borrowing ANYTHING I own. The one thing I hate the MOST though, would have to be them just randomly using my computer, without asking me first.

Yes, it's very annoying when people just cuts a part of your chox and sometimes they will have the bigger part. But now, I'll just buy two and give the whole one to others and the other one mine.
