Could you resist?

Suppose you hadn't eaten all day and someone brought a chocolate candy bar into the room and set it on the table in front of you. Let's pretend that you're on a diet, so you wouldn't ordinarily want to eat chocolate. But, you're really hungry! Would you be able to resist? Would you have the willpower to say no, even if you were hungry? What would you do to save your diet?

Would JUST ONE chocolate bar throw off your entire diet? LOL i probualy wouldnt be able to resist. This might be the reason why so many of my attemps to diet have failed miserably. But Chocolate isnt my biggest temptation things like potatoes and fried foods are. LOL

Are you kidding? One silly bite of canned chicken was enough to convert me away from my vegan ways. So, I can only imagine that a candy bar would send me straight to the fat farm. I am coping though. Drop by if you have any good diet recipes though. I can always use those.

a diet and candy bar ...well maybe its a a lite candy bar :) and you can justify it lol or maybe its dark chocolate (personally think they yucky) but hey they good for you now lol..maybe you just say ahhh heck and lets call it my treat for the week and i will eat a fruit salad for dinner or a big salad and it wont matter...but resist a candy bar ...no no no...all things in moderation i say even candybars :)

That would depend entirely on the chocolate bar. If it was like a Coffee Crisp or a Three Muskateers Bar, I think I could resist. But if it were a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup, Oh Henry!, Sweet Marie, well no. I could not resist and for crying out loud if I haven't eaten all day, that chocolate bar would have fewer calories than the two meals I missed. Funny, I was just looking around the house for chocolate tonight. I am on a diet and crave it sometimes. I'll take a peanut butter cup now please.

I am a very strong willed person if it comes to diet. It was very difficult to achieve my current weight and to gain back multiple weights are not difficult at all. Putting that thought into my mind will restrict me from groping at the chocolate. I wouldn't deny that I would stare in hunger and awe at the delicacy, but what to do? I am on diet... so... I have to think about something else or best of all, run away!

I don't diet...and I am not that fond of chocolate candy ....so I would easily be able to resist this temptaion.... I would not touch it...even if I was hungry...... Now, on the other hand...I am hypo-glycemic...so if I felt like my blood sugar was extremely low then yes, I would break a piece off and eat it...

I don't care for sweets so I would find it easy to resist. I especially don't like chocolate at all. I would never take something that belonged to someone else either without asking for it first.
