Hello my friends, I'm back...

Hi everyone, I just wanted to let you all know I am back. I had to leave and help my friend in Wa. Her son was killed June 2nd. He was riding a "pocket bike" mini motorcycle and was hit and killed instantly by an SUV. He was only 22 years old and like a son to me.

My friend is considering moving back to Ma. as most of her family is here. Well I hope everyone is well. I just didn't want everyone to think I jumped ship with no notice...:) Blessed Be

Mari I knew you had been gone, and I have had so many friends leave, without me knowing what had happened. I just thought I had missed an announcement. I cannot imagine the pain of losing a child. My thoughts are with your friend. You are a good friend to go help her at a time like this. I am glad that you did not jump ship, but I am sorry for the reason you are gone.

Thanks, I tried a few times to post a discussion to let people know I would be gone..but I just couldn't do it at the time....it was just too difficult. But I'm back for now. I do have to fly out there to drive her back to Ma. when she is ready to move home but that won't be for a while.
I did try several times to get online while I was gone...but my silly friend couldn't remember her password....it was her name...lol Then since she has dial up it took forever just to get on the web...so I gave up after a week of trying passwords and waiting an eternity for each page...I decided to just wait until I got home.
And here I am, it's good to be home for sure.

I'm sorry to hear that bad news.It must be a hard time for your friend now.God bless her.I think it's really kind of you to be with your friend after the accident.Friends' support releases grief to some extent.And it's important for her and her family to start a new life.

Sorry to hear the news, Cam told me about the news while we were chatting along.
Anyways, I really missed you and I do hope that you feel alright now. As for me, I've been through a rough time also. Trying to recover from it, I know everything will be alright for me as the day goes on. And that's what I hope you'd feel too, condolence to the family..

Hi raijin, thanks. I'm sorry you are having a rough time also. I guess it's in the air because now Cam is having a bit of trouble too....I guess we all have to just hang in there and let the bad times roll. I hope everything works out for you soon. I'm handling it ok. I know he's in a better place.

Yes, I think my being there helped her alot. She is hanging in there but it's not easy for her as she is alone now...but she does have very good friends out there. In fact it was a friend and co-worker that paid for my flight out there. She will be moving back to Ma at some point after settling affairs and selling her house.

I am very sorry your friend is having a difficult time right now and I think it's wonderful that you are there for her. I know this must be hard for you too.
I am glad you are back and I hope your friend decides to move back close to her family, since she will need the emotional support.

Thanks, I think she really has already decided, but she is still trying to convince herself...lol She at least has many good friends out there so I know they are helping her a lot. It's good to be back though for now. Brightest Blessings

I am so sorry to hear this story. You friend is blessed to have a friend like you who will drop everything and go help out. I'm glad you are back here at myLot. I hope you find healing in the comfort of your friends here who are happy to have you back.
