Have you ever gone to theatres alone????

I won't drink alone because I consider it unsafe, but I don't really mind going to theaters alone sometimes, depending on the type of movie and how much I want to see it. In fact, there have been some very serious movies that I wanted to see by myself, so I could have time to think about them without anyone else commenting. Funny movies however I do generally prefer to see with friends, and though once I made a new friend by going to one alone! He sat down next to me and we kept finding ourselves laughing when no one else was, and afterwards wound up having coffee and exchanging information. We were friends for a couple of years after that before I moved.

Yes, I have gone to the theaters alone quite a bit and find it no big deal. I don't drink, but I don't see anything wrong with drinking alone. I do just about everything alone and it's quite fun. Yes, having another person with you adds another dimension, but it can be just as fun when I'm alone, too.

Oh yeah, I've gone to the movies by myself many many times. I don't have any problem doing it. Sometimes there's a good movie that I want to see but my husband has no interest in seeing the movie. So then I'll go by myself.

I went to the movie theater by myself once. The going by myself part wasn't that big of a deal, but I think it is more fun to go with other people.

nope, one of the things that i'll never do by myself is going to the cinema, eating/drinking in a restaurant, go for a holiday. haha. it's not wrong, but it's just me. i just feel weird doing these things without any company. i like to be surrounded by people and love going out with my dearest friends and family.

I would never go to a movie alone..For one I am scared of the dark..Even so I wouldn't go during the day..Night time seems to be the best time for movies...

I would go alone but I would much rather go with a friend as it would be more fun and I would have someone to chat with and discuss the play/film etc with.

I did! I went to the movie alone, once, because I was very curious about the latest movie that time. Jacky Chan's "Mr. Nice Guy". I want to go with my brother but he already had another appointment with his friends. So, I went there all by myself. Fortunately, the movie was awesome, so it wasn't awful at all to watch the movie in theaters alone

Yes I have many times. If my husband and son don't want to see a particular movie then I always ask to go on a Sunday so he can take care of my son while I am gone. I don't mind watching movies on my own. The last one I saw was Dreamgirls and I was suprised to see so many women watching the movie on their own. Guess their husbands didn't fancy seeing the movie!

I also think I will never do things alone. However, I did went to a theatre alone once. That's was the last day of the show and I really wanted to see the show. I just book a ticket and in I go.

I like going to the Cinema by myself. Or have a juice all alone reading a book. I wouldn't imagine going alone to a concert, though.

Hello Coolgeth, Yes, I did once. I was so lonely and I didn't know what to do. I was at a shopping mall and I didn't know where else to go and what else to do. I went to the cineplex which is located at the 4th floor of the shopping mall, bought a ticket and watched the movie alone. Huh! Pity me!

I myself don't like doing things alone, but if i have to i will...i've never gone to the theatre alone and i never will because it's not a necessity to go right...unless it's Rush Hour3

I used to go to the cinema alone a lot when I was younger. It is easier going somewhere alone, you dont have to follow other ppls schedules and theres none of the waiting around for them to sort themselves out. Its also easier to change your mind and go someplace else when u alone. I dont go anywhere alone nowadays - the wife would kill me for not taking her with me :))

I have never tried watching a movie by myself ever. But I do not have anything against it though, if I was to watch a movie alone I think it would be okay. Though there are movies that is better to be watched with someone you know for they kind of initiate a lot of comments from you but there are also those that are better watched alone, I mean those that you need more concentration or else you might miss out on important parts.

Never i have gone alone to any movie.Sometimes back i was accompanied by my parents to theatres and now with my group of friends. Actually its not safe for girls to go alone to theatres here in my city and the other factor is i cannot enjoy the movie alone and always love to have fun with my friends while watching the movie.

I have neve gone to theatre alone.

In my entire life i have been to theatre alone for only one time.It wasn't that bad but i still prefer to go with friends.I have never drink alone and i don't think i will..for me it's weird to drink alone..:)

I have never gone to theatre alone and never have thought to do so. Its so boring without a companion. No matter how interesting the movie is it cannot make us happy unless there is some friend or someone else to talk to. After all, going to a movie is all about having fun with friends or family members.

i dont like watch alone but sometime friend not free and u have no date .. but u wanna to watch that movie badly ..
