Do your Pets Sleep all night in bed with you?

Our cats sleep all night in bed with us. We have two cats. They divide themselves between two of the bedrooms. Scamper, our fat fluffy, dark tortie, sleeps on the bed with my husband and myself. If it is hot, & we have the water cooler on, she choses a spot down by my feet directly in front of the cooler. If it is very cold, she squeezes herswelf between my husband & I, & gets a close as possible. So close in fact, that hubby & I can't cuddle up. If the weather is in-between, she will often to choose to lie alongside my husband. She stretches out quite flat, so that the full length of her body is right next to hubbies. Our other cast, Kiwi, sleeps with my daughter, as she just adores her. There is a little, soft purple rug for her to sleep on, but if it is very cold, she cuddles up right next to my daughter. Sometimes she buries herself under the quilt, with just her head showing. Do any of your pets sleep on your bed all night? Do they wake you up for anything in the middle of the night?

My big boy (my aviatar) sleeps with me mostly every night, he is big and likes to hog the bed often kicking me in the night but always is there for me to love on him in the mornings, my other cat sleeps different places every night, lately he has found a spot on our loveseat that he has been on for the past couple of nights.

I can imagine a big dog hogging the bed! A cat is bad enough, the way she stretches out.

Oh no, jenny. The oly pet I have here is my adorable bunny. It wouldn't be a good idea to let bunny hop in my bed and snuggled close to me. Bunny tends to be awake all through the night while sleeping most of the day. :)

I wonder what an "awake" bunny would do all night in bed!

No pets in my bed...lol I tend to kick them in my sleep so now I just don't let them sleep with me. I was waking up every time I moved worried that I would roll on a cat... and my dogs stay in the other part of the house. My ferrets and hermit crabs share my bedroom but not my bed...lol

Sometimes my cats do and they fight for the best place, but at night is usually when they play and have their psycho runs around the house.

I laughed at your comment. One of our cats has psycho runs around the house at night too. She plays a lot in the middle of the night.

Do you mean cats or dogs? Our two cats will argue opver a spot too, if one of them is foolish enough to try to get on our bed.

i love pets but i never encourage it to sleep in the bed , even though they r very friendly the hair falling and the worn out burned skin cells will un necessarily cause certain sort of deceases so try to avoid it . thats my request

I dont think they cause diseases, but some people may be alergic to the pet fur & saliva.

As much as i would like them to, no they don't. I have five dogs and there is no way they would all fit. And if I just let one in, the others would get upset. I have many cats and they seem to like to use my bed as a liter box, so they aren't allowed in my room. There is one who knows how to get in and she drives me nuts trying to get me to pet her all night. And then she will lay right on me so its hard to move without getting clawed.lol.

I have noticed that our two dogs get jealoius of one another. The two cats do too, & have big fighhts in the middle of the night. So, yes, I can understand you not letting your dogs sleep with you. One of our cats likes to be petted in the middle of the night. She licks us to get attention.

Two of my little dogs sleep with me. One on each side and I feel like I am a prisoner because I have one on each side jammed next to me and the blankets get pulled so tight I can't move. So after some pushing and shoving to get the blankets loose we all settle down until I have to get up to go to the bathroom then it starts all over again!

Rarely do both my cats sleep on the same bed, as they don't like each oher. But one morning a few weeks ago, I woke up feeling jammed in. There were both cats, one on each side of me, sleeping as close as possible. I was very surprised that they didn't have a big fight in the middle of the night! You wont need n electric blanket with both your dogs there.

No, Mine sleep in a very large keenel. They go into at bedtime. They have their own blanket and pillow. Its large and spacious and they are very happy. If you open the door , they will go in on their own.

My old dog was spoiled. She would always sleep on the end of the bed. My new dog usually always sleeps in her crate in her bed at night. She likes it and usually can't sleep anywhere else. If there is a bad storm or something she'll sleep at the end of the bed because she gets scared.

When I lived at home, my dog Eddie would always sleep with me, head on the pillow and under the blankets. Now that I've moved out of home, he still lives with my family as he's the family's dog, not just mine. The only pets we have here are hermit crabs and a fighting fish! So no, I don't sleep with any of my pets. When I go to my parents' house in the early mornings to baby sit my younger siblings twice a week I always snuggle up with Eddie on a matress in the loungeroom. It's one of my favourite things to do!

I have a dog as pet who sleeps at the door when it's cool and when it's hot he sleeps directly under the windows facing the door. whenever he senses that someone is at the door he'll will try the door if he can't open he comes back to whoever is in the room and wags his tail towards the door.

But not happened yet and i try to be careful. I think my cat searches warm place and in my bed is very warm place to be :)

When my cat was a tiny kitten, she wanted to sleep right next to me. It would scare me a lot that I would roll on her.

Sorry my pets can't sleep in bed with us, as they are tropical fish. They don't wake us up at night. Your pets sound like they have a great place to sleep.

Soo cute!! The cat sleeps with only her head showing!!1 I would love to see her in that position!!! My dog first sleeeps near my computer table n sometimes if we r awake late, then he puts his head under the table , to catch some dark spot to get sleep easily. N if we ever try to trouble him while sleeping, he will snap at us,,,lol..Then he will come in the middle of the night, when everyones asleep, n cuddle up next to our feet,, but he prefers cuddling to me mom's feet more than mine,, casue she is the one who feeds him, n is with him all the time,,He has this special liking for my mom , than any of us. N will really become hyperactive in the night , just to get a slight cuddle from my mom.!!!! He coils his body so amazingly while sleepnig , that he looks like a new born puppy,,, until he stretches back again..lol

My cute dog lassy sometimes sleeps over with me. He tickles my ears with his tounge before he sleeps. I do remember a time that he want to get out to piss off. But I was fall asleep tightly in my pillow. What he did, was he bite my legs and I screamed for that. Bad dog, I'm about to punished him but I felt his face down and feel sorry about it.

Hi jennybianca! Unfortunately our pets can't sleep in our bed, actually they are all my hubby's pets. One is a boa constrictor, the other one is a civet, a snapping turtle and a monkey. We have dogs but are trained to be guard dogs so they really have their own house in our yard. Have a nice day!
