Very Disturbed About This-Send Prayers To A Fellow MyLotter

I hope a fellow MyLotter doesn't get mad at me, but I read one of the discussions started by this person and just couldn't get it out of my mind. I t really haunted me
I was going through my friends list and clicking on to see if there were past discussions to reply to and I came across this one...like I said I hope this person doesn't get ticked off at me, but I really think we need to send our positive loving thoughts and prayers to this person:

Very disturbing, and this problems happens with alot of people these days but we just don't hear about it, depression is a very part of his make-up and it is too bad he does not see it, hopefully someone will direct this person to seek some help and guidance before it is too late.

I know about these discussion.The person is one new friends of mine.Ask a friend request and I except.When I readied I felt like you.I response and I try help.
You are very kind to thinking start these post and try help.I hope our help and prays make him fell better.

Yes I see why you made thos post, very sad, I hope she finds something that will lift her up, maybe her friends in here just might be what she needs as some people find it easier to talk to people they don't really know, there is a lot of understanding people in here at Mylot, we should all send her positive thoughts and hope she finds what we all need something to live for...

That is a disturbing discussion and I would say those who responded gave some good advice. I did however check the profile and your friend logged in 5 hours ago and has since posting that discussion and has responded to several discussions and shows no sign of a problem...
What ever the situation I will certainly lift prayers for this mylot member though.

Agree - I've actually been thinking about this on and off all day (saying a brief prayer each time). The fact is they posted that discussion and it is frieghtening to think that a person feels that way about their life. Been there done that myself :( The majority of times this discussion is actually a 'scream for help'. My prayers are that someone will touch this person's heart and let them connect with someone who can help them.

Hi pye! I sent a reply to his post yesterday, which he replied to, then I sent one private message asking if his feeling better anyhow but I didn't get a reply. I hope his okay.

It is horrendous for anyone to feel this way. I will definitely pray for him and hope he is feeling so much better today knowing that all of us are thinking about and worrying about him. Everyone has bad days, but if you feel like life isn't worth living for any length of time, you need to get help to feel better. I hope he posts and says all is well now.

It sure wouldn't hurt for him to get professional help...sometimes one really needs to talk things out to someone

Thank you for sharing this hon. I went and responded with friendship and encouragement to this person. I am also praying about this person's situation. It upset me to read it too. I hope that everyone's positive thoughts and prayers will help to change this person's perspective on life.

It is a disturbing discussion! I hope s/he took the advice of some of the posters and went to see a doctor! I certainly think the discussion was a cry for help and one of the best things we can do on myLot is to send postive, loving thoughts!

This is truly, as you say, disturbing, pyewacket. Having been there myself, I know how powerful depression can be. I will add my prayers and positive thoughts. I know that some of the people here on MyLot actually know each other. I would pray that someone knows this person and can reach out to them on a more personal level.

Sometimes all people need is a reminder that they do matter to someone, even if it is someone who is half way around the world. I see from the profile that this is a very young lady from India. Hopefully, she will heed the sage advice of some of the other posters and get some medical help. She may need medication, or, at the very least some therapy. She is so young to feel so badly about life. She certainly has my prayers.

I read the post, and really feel for this person. Depression is not an easy thing to deal with. One of my best friends deals with depression. She has told me just getting up out of bed is a job, and that each day she wonders if it will be the day she ends her life. I will keep this person in my prayers. I think this is good that this person is reaching out to others. Support of others always helps, and can be comforting.

At least this person did reach out...like many who might have depressive thoughts many will keep it bottled up..inside..and yes, maybe knowing the person has our support and prayers will help

This person is obviously struggling. I constantly live with the feeling of being worthless and useless in the back of my mind and can get to feeling very low, and dark and sad. There is no way I could ever reach out for help the way he did so I'm feeling all is not lost.
I think sometimes too that even with help and support everything has a futility about it for those in this place and too much advice and support could actually push one over the edge.
I really hope he sees his doctor and gets some medication.

It's not much of description but he did say he is well financially, so at least he realizes how good life has been in that matter. I hope he will find my response helpful

Do you know this person, I have heard many stories of people posting like this to get responses and to get noticed. And I have seen several discussions of this tenor.

It truly is a very disturbing thread she had posted there, the person was indeed in a very depressed situation and in great need of comfort and prayers by those people who are very much concern about her situation even more to her very own life...she will be in my prayer's lists and I believe God will just be there with her to protect her from the attacks of the enemies in her life.

Yes,I do see what you mean, this person does need all of our prayers and support. Depression is a very sad thing. It can take a hold of any one of us at any time in our lives. I too have had bouts with this terriable thing.Seems the entire world is caving in on you and there is no place to go, nobody to turn to.I hope and pray this person gets help before it is too late.

I think at one point in our lives, each and everyone of us has gone through a severe depression period...I did myself years ago...the most important thing for anyone to do is to talk things out
